Tales of Seikyu Overview
Tales of Seikyu is an early access fantasy farming and management simulation game being developed by ACE Entertainment and published by Fireshine Games. It was slated to launch in early access on May 21, 2025 for the PC, and eventually arrive on consoles. The game had a very successful Kickstarter campaign which garnered over 900% of its original intended goal.
The game takes place on the island of Seikyu, a sanctuary for the Yokai, mysterious creatures from Japanese mythology. Away from the humans, the players are allowed to move into the island with their little sibling due to their Kitsune ancestry and take on the life of becoming humble residents. The protagonist will then use their powers of transformation to become various yokai to carry out everyday farming tasks, such as tilling and watering the soil, or soaring the skies to explore the island. Teeming full of yokai, players can also bond with the locals and grow their relationships further than friends.

Tales of Seikyu Gameplay
Tales of Seikyu is a fantasy farm and life simulation RPG where players must live off land in Seikyu Island. They will be able to transform into different yokai that grants them their natural abilities. Players can transform into the destructive Wild Boar to till the soil, the aquatic slime to water said soil or go underwater diving, or the free-flying Karasu Tengu to fly around the airspace of the island.
Aside from farmlife, they must roam around the island to collect materials and resources for various crafts needed to construct and expand their farm homestead. Building a respectable home will be instrumental, as players are able to form deep relationships and romance yokai villagers. Become close enough, and they will be able to start families and flourish within the sanctuary of Seikyu.

The official announcement trailer offers a glimpse into the vibrant world of Seikyu, demonstrating the protagonist's transformations into various Yokai forms. From soaring through the skies as a flying Yokai to assisting with farming tasks as a boar, and delving into underwater depths as a water Yokai, players explore diverse environments. They can gather resources, construct their tavern, engage in fishing activities, combat adversaries, and encounter potential romantic interests, including a winged girl who shares a kiss with the protagonist. The trailer also introduces other intriguing characters within the game world.
