Builders of Egypt blends standard city-builder mechanics with themes and concepts inspired by Ancient Egyptian society, emphasizing logistics, production, faith, and strategic placement to maximize proximity bonuses between buildings.
Players construct their cities on a grid, using in-game currency, represented as bread, to purchase buildings, facilities, amenities, roads, and trade routes. The goal is to develop their settlements into thriving cities by carefully managing resources and planning urban layouts.
The game features two modes: Campaign Scenarios and Sandbox Mode. Campaign Scenarios guide players through key moments in Ancient Egyptian history with mission-based objectives, while Sandbox Mode offers creative freedom to design and grow a city without constraints.
