BLEACH Rebirth of Souls Overview
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is a 3D fighter game based on the iconic anime and manga by Tite Kubo, released on March 21, 2025, for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game allows players to relive the epic story of BLEACH, starting from Ichigo Kurosaki's journey as a Substitute Soul Reaper in the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc to the intense final battle against Sosuke Aizen in the Arrancar Arc.
Players can choose from a wide roster of BLEACH characters, each with unique abilities and sword techniques. Master their individual skills, command the flow of battle, and exploit openings to overpower your enemies in this fast-paced 3D combat experience. The game is centered around a three-way deadlock of Attack, Breaker and Guard that players will have to exploit to find openings in their opponents’ defence.

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls Gameplay
Players can select from a roster of BLEACH characters, including Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen, each with unique abilities and sword techniques. The game is a 3D one-on-one arena fighter that can be played in single-player, online, or split-screen modes. The objective is to reduce the opponent’s Reishi and Konpaku (health bar) through continuous attacks, with other options to defend, jump, and glide through the arena. Players can execute combos to deal additional damage and accumulate Fighting Spirit to enter an Awakening state which boosts stats and alters certain character actions.
During an awakening, Kikon Channel is triggered by accumulating increased fighting spirit. This allows your character to unleash powerful Kikon Moves—abilities that deal devastating damage and can even counter enemy actions.
Stages haven't been confirmed yet, but we do see familiar landmarks that you'll be able to fight in such as the Seireitei. The combat is based on a strategic three-way deadlock system of Attack, Breaker, and Guard, requiring players to find and exploit openings in their opponent's defense.
Each character's sword varies in range, power, and speed, requiring players to master their unique attributes and learn to effectively manage distances in combat.
Playable Characters
BLEACH Rebirth of Souls currently has a starting roster of 31 distinct characters, with a total of 32 different fighters. This is due to Ichigo having a separate playable Bankai form. It has yet to be confirmed what the final count of characters for the game will be.
