Announcement History
April 10, 2025
The Alters’ final release date has been announced to be June 13, 2025 for PC (Steam, Epic Games, GOG, Game Pass), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It will have both a physical and digital release.
February 12, 2025
11 bit studios announces that the game will not be released in Q1 2025. No final date has been announced at this time.
October 1, 2024
The Alter’s release date was announced to be delayed to early 2025. 11 bit studios president Przemyslaw Marszal explained that the reason for the delay is due to quality concerns and that the added time would mean that the final product would be more satisfactory, not only to him and his team but also to the fans waiting for its release.
March 6, 2024
The Alters’ first gameplay reveal trailer was released. It was also advertised that the game would be available on Xbox Game Pass on release. However, the release date is still not confirmed at this time and was still listed tentatively as 2024.
October 4, 2023
11 bit studios reveals a tentative 2024 release schedule for The Alters. While initially announced as a PC-only title, it was revealed that the game will be released to consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S) as well.
