Its combat involves samurai swordplay featuring stealth mechanics, where players can perform melee and ranged attacks, a combination of fast and heavy attacks, parries, counters, and other special abilities. The game features a skill tree that affects Jin's abilities and techniques. Players engage in samurai swordfights where enemies are controlled by highly intelligent AI.
