Beatrix Retains Her Signature Delta Clock Mechanic
Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok recently showcased Beatrix in a "Meet the Crew" trailer, marking her as the first expansion character to receive a full reveal. While other characters were previously teased for the expansion, Beatrix is the first to be formally introduced with a trailer. The expansion is set to launch on July 9, 2026, coinciding with the game’s release on Nintendo Switch 2.
In the minute-long trailer, Beatrix appears to retain the close-range, aggressive fighting style that defines her across the Granblue Fantasy universe. Wielding her signature sword, Embrasque, she pressures enemies at melee range with fast slashes and multiple gap-closing moves that allow her to quickly close distance.

Her combat design also incorporates her Delta Clock mechanic. Certain attacks build the gauge when they connect, while pressing the Unique Attack button advances the hands of the clock, letting Beatrix shift buffs on the fly between enhancing attack, defense, or healing.
When the gauge is fully charged, she can enter Divine Causality, a mode that greatly increases her attack speed and combo potential. This state emphasizes her aggressive, high-pressure playstyle, allowing for extended and more fluid combos.
What's New in Endless Ragnarok?

Beyond introducing new playable characters, Endless Ragnarok also expands the scope of Granblue Fantasy: Relink with additional story chapters, new systems, and more endgame-oriented content. The expansion can be purchased as an upgrade for existing Relink owners, while new players will also be able to obtain it as part of a bundled version of the game.
The expansion continues the narrative after the events of the base campaign, introducing new enemies known as the Ragnalia alongside additional bosses and quest tiers designed around cooperative play. It also introduces summons as a new combat feature, allowing players to call powerful entities into battle. In some cases, these summons can briefly become controllable or trigger a new chain attack referred to as a Primal Burst.

Other additions include The Conflux, a solo-focused mode built around unpredictable encounters, as well as Master Traits, which expand character progression beyond the limits seen in the original release. Cross-platform play has also been confirmed, allowing players across supported platforms to take part in the game’s four-player cooperative missions together.
Unlike previous updates released for the base game, the characters revealed for Endless Ragnarok are tied directly to the expansion. As a result, Beatrix will not be retroactively added to the original version of Relink and will instead be playable through the expansion’s content.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a 2024 action RPG where players lead a crew through the sky kingdom of Zegagrande to stop a cult from unsealing world-ending Primal Beasts. The game features fast-paced combat built around four-person parties, emphasizing coordinated skill chains and powerful Link Attacks to defeat large-scale bosses. Its expansion, Endless Ragnarok, is set to come out on July 9, 2026, for PS4, PS5, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2.
