Universal Studios already features a Super Nintendo World in Hollywood that opened in 2023. The current attraction revolves around the Mario universe. Aonuma's presence at USF led to speculation that a Zelda-themed addition could be in development. Given Miyamoto's role in the creation of the Mario park, Aonuma's involvement may suggest his consultation on a potential Zelda expansion.

However, Aonuma's visit might be part of his responsibilities as a senior officer in Nintendo’s Entertainment Planning & Development, and it may not necessarily indicate a new project.

Fans pointed out that symbols plastered on a wall behind Aonuma and Miyamoto seem to be a Triforce. The Triforce is a mystical artifact in The Legend of Zelda series that is central to the games' lore. The Triforce consists of three golden, equilateral triangles, and fans spotted in the clip what they think to be the artifact.
