Metal Eden is Launching on May 6, 2025!
Metal Eden, an upcoming first-person shooter, has officially been unveiled and is set to launch on May 6, 2025. Players can now add the game to their PS5 wishlist in anticipation of its release.
Set in a futuristic world where humanity ventures beyond Earth, Metal Eden delivers a gripping sci-fi narrative. To ensure survival on distant star systems, humankind developed the Cores—advanced systems designed to store and reconstruct human consciousness upon reaching new destinations. One such destination is Moebius, a corporate-controlled artificial city built to extract valuable minerals from the planet Vulcan. Players take on the role of Aska, an android created by one of Moebius’ founding figures, Nexus. Tasked with following orders, Aska’s mission holds a deeper purpose: to rescue the lifeless colonists trapped within the Citadel.
At the heart of Metal Eden’s combat system is Core Ripping, a dynamic mechanic that adds a strategic layer to engagements. This feature allows players to extract energy from enemies, using it to enhance their arsenal or fuel devastating melee strikes. Whether opting for explosive takedowns or fluid, high-speed combat, Core Ripping encourages creativity and adaptability.
With the ability to glide, dash, wall-run, and weave through enemy fire, players will experience an exhilarating dance of destruction, eliminating threats before they can react. Metal Eden is poised to deliver a fast-paced, adrenaline-charged FPS experience like no other.
Dreams of Another Available to Wishlist Now
Dreams of Another is a one-of-a-kind shooting exploration game where weapons are not instruments of destruction but tools of transformation. Instead of harming enemies, you reshape the world itself, bringing abstract chaos into form. Launching in 2025, the game is now available to wishlist on PS5 and PS VR2.
Built with cutting-edge point cloud technology, Dreams of Another crafts an ethereal, impressionistic dreamscape where reality exists in a fragmented, ever-shifting state. The environment—composed of countless particles—reacts dynamically to every action. Each shot you fire doesn’t destroy but instead scatters and reshapes, materializing new structures as if the world itself is being created in real time.
At the heart of this journey are two enigmatic figures: The Man in Pajamas and The Wandering Soldier. Their intertwined story unfolds through interactive environments, where every discovery reveals new layers of mystery, blurring the lines between dream and reality. Prepare to explore a world where perception is fluid, and every action shapes the unknown.

What is PlayStation State of Play?
PlayStation State of Play is a regular program by Sony that aims to deliver updates on upcoming and recently released games, as well as hardware and other PlayStation-related news. It is their showcase event, similar to Nintendo Direct and Xbox Developer Direct, that is pre-recorded and streamed online, featuring game trailers, developer insights, and sometimes surprise announcements.
There is no strict schedule for PlayStation State of Play showcases. It can happen multiple times a year, depending on whether Sony has anything major to share with the gaming community, whether it’s about their own IPs, indies, or other big updates.
