From the gameplay revealed so far, Onimusha: Way of the Sword presents itself as a fast-paced action experience centered on tense one-on-one encounters with agile, dangerous opponents. Its combat approach invites comparisons to titles like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and FromSoftware’s Dark Souls series, with a strong emphasis on timing, precision, and deliberate strategy.
