WWE 2K24 is a professional wrestling simulation sports game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. The game released on March 8, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It is the twenty-fourth mainline entry in the WWE games series, serving as the tenth installment in the WWE 2K franchise and sequel to WWE 2K23. The game allows players to compete in wrestling matches in real-time as WWE Superstars and as customized characters. It is released in March 2024 alongside celebrations of the momentous 40th anniversary of Wrestlemania, the biggest pro-wrestling show in the world. The game features the 2K Showcase of the Immortals, a series of the 21 playable Wrestlemania matches that also allow to relive the events’ most unforgettable stories and historical career-defining moments.
WWE 2K24 Gameplay
In WWE 2K24, players control professional wrestlers and input commands to perform striking, grappling, running, and aerial moves. Moves can be chained to form combinations, and include a wrestler's Signature move and Finisher move. Player compete in a variety of match types incuding classic showdowns set to professional wrestling rules, as well as gimmick-match types such as Casket and Ambulance matches.
WWE 2K24 features a career mode called MyRISE where players can create their own wrestler character and complete an original storyline which sees them rise through the ranks of the WWE roster to achieve superstardom.
