Overwatch just announced their brand new collab with popular anime Cowboy Bebop. Read on to learn more about the new collaboration, the heroes with the new skins, and more.
Overwatch x Cowboy Bebop Anime Skin Collaboration Announced

Overwatch showcases their latest skin collaboration with anime "Cowboy Bebop" with a faithful recreation of the legendary anime’s opening complete with animated stills and floating words, all while in sync with the iconic theme song "Tank!" by the Seatbelts.
This isn’t Overwatch’s first foray with skin collaborations as they’ve already done a few collabs in the past. Their most recent one was another anime collaboration with the popular Seinen series "One Punch Man" and K-Pop girl group LE SSERAFIM back in 2023.
In the trailer, it showcases the following heroes in the new skin line:
● Cassidy as Spike Spiegel
● Ashe as Faye Valentine
● Mauga as Jet Black
● Sombra as Ed
● Wrecking Ball as Ein
The new legendary skins have more than meets the eye, notably with Cassidy’s and Ashe’s skins. Cassidy’s revolver is modeled after the Swordfish, which is Spike’s ship in the anime, and Ashe’s robot companion B.O.B. is modeled after the Redtail, which is Faye’s ship in the anime. The in-game final designs will be revealed on March 11th—one day before the collaboration event begins. Also, the Wrecking Ball skin can be unlocked for free!
Aimee Dennett, Overwatch 2's Associate Director had this to say in a press release: "We’re honored to be collaborating with one of the most respected anime series of all time in Cowboy Bebop." She further added that "This collaboration is a wonderful way to pay homage to the legendary stories, art, animation, and music of the Cowboy Bebop series. We hope its fans and our players have as much fun with what we’re bringing to Overwatch 2 as we did in creating it."
