Lethal Company Introduces Arachnophobia Mode for Spider-Fearing Players

Lethal Company, indie horror games’ most recent darling, has garnered a lot of attention from players since its early access launch in October. The game requires players to explore moons and gather scrap as they navigate through its myriads of horrors.

These include ghostly entities, mechanical bees, eyeless dogs, and yes, a significant presence of spiders, among others. However, with the game's diverse monstrosities, the developers have taken a considerate step to address potential concerns (like, Arachnophobia).

In the Version 45 patch, Lethal Company introduced the "Arachnophobia Mode" for players who may be uneasy about the presence of spiders in the game. This optional mode transforms every spider into the word "spider" in large red letters (SPIDER). The update not only caters to arachnophobes but also brings a touch of humor to the gaming experience.

Alongside the new mode, the game's solo developer Zeekerss also implemented the following in “The Frosty Update” patch:

 ● Rail cheese has been nearly destroyed
 ● Forest giant is easier to avoid
 ● Added to radar boosters the "flash" command, and the ship's new "signal translator"
 ● Keybind settings
 ● Item delivery ship gets a "jolly spin"
 ● Gravity is more dangerous
 ● Improved Mansion map generations
