UNDEFEATED: Genesis Story Plot
UNDEFEATED: Genesis thrusts you into an extraordinary journey. From an ordinary college student, you've transformed into a cosmic hero after a life-altering encounter with a meteor.
When you awaken, you are now on an alien planet ravaged by mutants that were remnants of a cataclysmic event centuries ago. As the last hope for the planet's survivors, you must soar through the skies and harness your powers to eradicate these terrifying creatures and restore the world to its former glory.
In a Japanese interview with Game Designer Daigo Hyodo at BitSummit 2023, it is revealed that the game has two themes: "superpowers" and "life" Hyodo explained, "A character who has powers and acts on their desires is a villain, not a hero. A hero is someone who uses their superpowers from someone else, and the protagonist of the game continues to save people in trouble in a devastated world."
UNDEFEATED: Genesis Gameplay
UNDEFEATED: Genesis is a superhero game that offers a high-speed, action-packed gameplay experience. Players take control of a character with the ability to float and accelerate rapidly through a vast, open world.
Not only can you soar through the skies, you can also fight enemies with your immense strength. Combat is centered around a combo system, where players can combine strong and weak attacks. The main character can even do special moves, like manipulating rocks in the air to smash them into enemies.
The player character has HP and "energy," which decreases with actions such as movement and is restored using resources obtained throughout the environment.
