Skate Console Playtesting Now Ongoing
Register Now For Beta Access And Exclusive Rewards
After being announced back in June 2020 and with teasers here and there, skate. is finally available for playtesting on PlayStation and Xbox! As of writing, there has been no confirmed date as to when the PC beta will commence, but fans are welcome to register as an Insider to be updated.
According to the game’s official X (Twitter), console playtesting seemed to have been ongoing since December, or even as far back as September as shown via a highlight reel. However, developer Full Circle is still encouraging fans to come and sign up for playtesting as development is actively ongoing.
To have a chance to try out the beta version of the game, interested players can head on over to EA’s official website and hop on Skate’s page to register for Skate Insider Playtesting. Besides getting to try the game early, testers (or Insiders) will also receive exclusive rewards such as an in-game skateboard and stickers upon Early Access launch.
skate. is set to release in Early Access sometime in 2025. The newest entry into the franchise comes nearly a decade after the release of Skate 3, and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, it is planned to be a free-to-play, live-service game that will bring about an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as Full Circle shared in a previous interview on their YouTube channel.
