Humanity created the Rings of Olympus as the ultimate weapon, the zenith of mankind’s ingenuity. However, the higher the pride, the greater the fall. The AI has taken control over all of the robot forces and have laid waste to mankind. Humanity rallied and retreated to 10 outposts across the world, but one by one, they have fallen.
You are at the last outpost, and you must repel the onslaught of the AI invasion and survive for the future of mankind.
Outpost: Infinity Siege Gameplay
Outpost: Infinity Siege is an FTD, a combination of a first-person shooter(FPS) and a tower-defense(TD) game. You will be able to move about in the field in the first person, and also command and control your base of operations to fend off incoming attacks.
You will be able to customize your base with a wide variety of defenses, supplies, and firepower to make sure you’ll survive any approaching horde of enemies.
Players will need to go on a Tour and explore abandoned areas in order to collect supplies to bring back to the outpost. The journeys will never be easy, as you will have to fend off any hostile robots that may come your way.
Players can go on Tours not only for supply gathering, but also to expand humanity’s land area. Certain sites can be Tour’ed to and established with outposts but will require a certain amount of power from your existing network of outposts.
Once inside any site, you have the ability to switch between Combat mode, which is the first-person mode where you can regularly use your firearms, and Command mode, where you can manipulate and manage all components and features of the residing outpost.

The game modes showcase trailer goes into a deep dive with all of the game’s main features and mechanics, where a Tour acts like a main campaign that can be played between multiple players, and Endless mode is a challenging mode with an infinite amount of waves.

The official release date trailer opens with a narration recounting the events initiated by the infinite onslaught of robotic invaders. The Rings of Olympus’ AI has gone rogue and bit back at its creators, forcing humanity on the backfoot to be secluded in subterranean outposts.

The official reveal trailer showcases the game’s main features, which are the FPS combat mixed with the Tower Defense overhead gameplay where you can build your base and defend it.
