Open Roads Story Plot
Open Roads is a story about Tess, voiced by Kaitlyn Dever, and her mother Opal, voiced by Keri Russel, as they go on a road trip to discover their family’s most shocking secrets. Spurred by Tess’ late grandmother and the mysterious contents of her diary, the two set out to investigate and reveal all the secrets that have been buried for years.
Open Roads Gameplay
Open Roads is a first-person narrative-driven adventure game. Taking control of the daughter, Tess, you will have to walk, click, point, and investigate any objects of interest you find throughout your travels. Some objects may hold clues or hold the key to the overall mystery you’re trying to unravel, while others might offer a glimpse of the life the mother and daughter have.
It also acts as a visual novel of sorts, where characters will speak to each other. Although not shown, it may be safe to assume it will also sometimes prompt you to choose dialogue options or actions accordingly.
