Koe (声) Story Plot
Koe (声) will have you play as a high school exchange student who relocates in the rural city of Sakurachou in Japan. You will meet various classmates and people from whom you’ll be able to learn the Japanese language from and apply them in day-to-day conversations.
However, you’ll eventually discover that this seemingly normal Japanese city actually has a peculiar shrine that, as you interact with it, transforms and magically sends you to the world of Koe.
Koe is an unusual world filled with cities, caves, shrines, and monsters, and all you’ll have to defend yourself with are the Japanese words you have learned. Use Japanese words to attack, defend, and heal yourself in battle as you travel the world of Koe, and return to your normal life in Sakurachou to rest and learn new words for your arsenal.
Together with your friends and classmates, you’ll venture through Koe and uncover the mystery regarding a certain Princess Fleur and the rest of her royal family.

Koe (声) is an educational game in the form of a JRPG. You will go into class to learn Japanese sentence words and grammar, for which you’ll be able to apply to conversations with your friends and classmates in Sakurachou.
Once in Koe, you’ll utilize all the Japanese you’ve learned to adventure through its mysterious and wonderful world. Use words to fight and defend against the enemies you’ll encounter, and heal yourself whenever you need to!
