Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will follow the same gameplay as the older games in the franchise with the same subtitle, which is primarily a first-person shooter with the camera occasionally zooming out for certain sections when exploring and in action segments. The game also has familiar weapons that return, like the arm cannon and missiles shown in the announcement trailer.
