Pragmata is real, and it just received a 2026 release window during the PlayStation State of Play for June 2025!
Capcom originally announced the game five years ago, in June 2020, during the PlayStation 5 reveal event, with a release date set for 2022. However, this target was not met, and the game experienced its first delay in January 2021, which saw its release window shift to 2023. The delays continued, and in June 2023, Capcom announced a second delay, pushing the release indefinitely without a new specific date.
Although it wasn’t given an exact release date, Pragmata is, at least, confirmed to still be in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. We’ll update this article with more information about the game’s exact release date and time, so check back soon!

June 26, 2025
Pragmata was featured during the June 2025 Capcom Spotlight, showcasing the game's core hacking and combat mechanics.
June 4, 2025
After almost two years of radio silence, Capcom gave Pragmata a 2026 release window during the PlayStation State of Play for June 2025.
June 13, 2023 | Second Delay
Capcom announced, in what fans saw as the most adorable way to apologize, that Pragmata will once again be delayed, this time indefinitely.
January 11, 2021 | First Delay
During CES 2021, Sony confirmed that Pragmata has been pushed back to 2023.
June 12, 2020 | Reveal Announcement
Pragmata was officially revealed during the PS5 Reveal Event back in 2020. The game received a 2022 release window.
