Exciting news for fans of Marvel's Spider-Man! To celebrate Free Comic Book Day, Marvel has announced that they'll release a prequel comic for the upcoming game, Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The comic will explore the events leading up to the game, featuring beloved characters such as Peter Parker, Miles Morales, MJ Watson, and the infamous supervillain The Hood.
The prequel comic is written by acclaimed writer Christos Gage with art by Ig Guara.
On May 6, fans in the United States can celebrate Free Comic Book Day by visiting participating comic book retailers or downloading the comic online via the Marvel Unlimited App or Marvel's Official Website. While the physical comic will only be available in the United States, the digital version will be available worldwide later through the Marvel Unlimited app.

Insomniac Games has also announced that Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered will be released as a standalone title on the PS5. This is excellent news for players who didn't have the chance to play the original game on the PS4 but have a PS5 instead for $49.99.
For those who already own the original Marvel Spider-Man game on PS4, an upgrade option is available. Players can upgrade to the remastered version for $10, providing they own a physical or digital copy of the game.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be released this fall.
