Upcoming Major DLC Around Christmas
FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time's upcoming DLC, "The Sinister Broker Bazario’s Schemes," was confirmed by Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino to be a free update coming around Christmas 2025. On his official Twitter (X) account, he noted concerned fans questioning the release date and sought to reassure players.
The free update was first announced by a teaser trailer back in September 25th of this year, ending with a December 2025 release window. The trailer showcased core features of the game and teased new content, including the introduction of the character Bazario and other changes coming to the post-game region, Ginormosia.
In the latter half of the teaser trailer, Bazario is introduced as a dark seemingly greedy beast who has taken control of warping sections of Ginormosia, through a glowing pendant. Although only limited details are revealed, the trailer sets expectations for major surprises tied to this transformed region.
"Players can look forward to battles against new monsters, the appearance of a mysterious smoke-belching artifact, and the discovery of brand-new equipment and mounts," the developers confirmed on their official website.
These additions for the update are especially significant given Ginormosia’s established role in the game. Known as the open-world region for post-game content, this vast area allows players to grind, gather materials, and explore freely at their own pace.
Players Looking Forward to Updates
Now with a solid release commitment, players have expressed their excitement for the upcoming update, particularly the potential addition of a new dungeon feature and the possibility of facing a powerful new antagonist.
Apart from this December update, fans are also anticipating the Update the World DLC, previously announced by the developers a month after the game’s release. This content will mainly feature a roguelike open-world mode for the Ginormosia region as well, introducing new mounts, equipment and recipes. While there is no release date, the community continues to wait with bated breath for new content.
Players have noted that activities become limited once they reach the endgame phase, with not much else to do except collect and grind, hence their excitement for new updates.
Through each content update, the community hopes that the game will continue to be enjoyable, as they’re also expecting further quality-of-life improvements to make the overall current experience smoother for playing long-term.
