Tekken 8 Launches Season 2 Summer DLC with Fahkumram
Fahkumram Set to Release on July 10
Tekken 8’s Summer DLC marks the return of Fahkumram, the Muay Thai titan from Thailand. Season Pass holders received early access to Fahkumram on July 7, prior to his public release on July 10. Following his return, Armored King was announced as the next DLC fighter among other upcoming Season 2 updates.
Fahkumram was once celebrated as a national hero, but false accusations tarnished the fighter's reputation, resulting in imprisonment and coercion by corrupt officials who forced him into underground matches—all for the sake of protecting his family.
Dubbed "Thunderstruck" for the lightning-like Lichtenberg scars across his body, Fahkumram steps back into the ring in Tekken 8 as a captive storm. His sights are now set on the Mishima Zaibatsu, seeking retribution against the shadowy force behind global conflicts, political schemes, and the infamous King of Iron Fist.
Fahkumram Honors Muay Thai Roots with Visual and Combat Redesign

Game Director Katsuhiro Harada regarded Fahkumram as one of Tekken’s most visually imposing characters for his Lichtenberg scars and towering stature. In Tekken 8, his scars now showcase enhanced textures and dynamic flickering, made possible by updated rendering technology.
Additionally his redesign dives deeper into Thai culture, with a Garuda-inspired Mongkhon headband and an authentic Sak Yant tattoo designed by a respected Thai monk, which further honors his Muay Thai heritage.
For those interested in his moveset, Fahkumram's signature high kick, the Lashing Squall, makes a return as one of his core moves. His playstyle centers around his "Garuda Force State" and "Rama Stance," which blends enhanced attacks, follow-ups, and block counters to utilize his high-damage potential.
