Tales of Series Celebrates 30 Years
Unveiling More of What’s to Come In 2025
A special live stream broadcast is coming up real soon in celebration of the Tales of series’ 30th anniversary! The news was announced on the official Tales Channel X (Twitter), and this celebratory broadcast is scheduled to go live on December 16th, 2024, 7PM JST (5AM ET / 2AM PT). There’s no specific details yet as to how it will go or how long the livestream will be, but they promised a lot of information will be revealed, specifically on new plans for the 30th anniversary, merchandise, and the upcoming Tales of Festival in 2025.
This livestream comes ahead of the Tales of Graces f Remastered release that will come next month on January 17th. Tales of Graces f Remastered comes 15 years after its very first release on the Nintendo Wii console, followed by a port on the PlayStation 3 back in 2010. The modernized remaster will launch on several platforms, and will feature updated graphics as well as additional content.
Additionally, this is only the first of many releases—series producer Yusuke Tomizawa shared back in the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase in August that this title is part of the Tales Remastered Project, where the developers intend to remaster “as many titles as possible.” He shared to Famitsu that “In the long run, I think that releasing as many titles as possible is what will make everyone happy.”
On the other hand, news on the Tales of Festival 2025 has gone radio silent since its announcement back in September, where they confirmed that the event will be held in Yokohama Arena from June 7th to 8th, 2025. Hopefully, the livestream will be able to shed more light onto these plans and events.
