Persona 30th Anniversary Updates
Persona 6 Possibly On The Way

The Persona series is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and its recently updated text on its official website suggests that the highly anticipated sequel to the franchise may be on its way. As spotted on the webpage’s Google search description, the upcoming anniversary festivities will "usher in the next chapter for the series."
ATLUS and SEGA kicked off the celebration with their latest livestream on January 8, where they shared new merchandise and events for Persona’s 30th anniversary. However, aside from the previously announced Persona 4 Revival, the developers have yet to unveil new titles or remakes for the franchise.
However, upon looking at the official anniversary website, many are expecting an eventual announcement for the sequel, Persona 6. The page now includes the full history of Persona’s released games, beginning with Revelations: Persona in 1996, all the way to the upcoming Persona 4 Revival this year.

What’s interesting in this timeline is that beyond Persona 4 Revival is a "To be continued" text, suggesting that more games will be revealed soon. This sparked speculation online that this is a clear sign that Persona 6 could be announced this year as part of Persona’s 30th anniversary.
Fans also theorized other potential titles for the series, such as Persona 5 Arena, with some jokingly stating that it could be a plethora of remakes. Regardless, these latest updates solidified that the Persona series has more in store for its fans, and the developers will be sharing more information as the anniversary celebration continues.
New Merchandise and Upcoming Events

As mentioned, ATLUS and SEGA unveiled new merchandise and events to commemorate Persona’s 30th anniversary. Starting with the official goods and items available on ATLUS’ official online shop, new exclusive merchandise is now available for pre-order.
There is also a Persona 5 Royal x ANIPLUS café in Singapore, which began on January 9 and includes "a collaboration menu featuring the characters and story of Persona 5 Royal." This event debuts "newly drawn chibi illustrations" of these characters, and visitors will receive exclusive gifts with every purchase of the collab menu items.
Meanwhile, Japanese multi-entertainment facility Round1 Bowling & Arcade will release new bowling, karaoke, and sports-themed merchandise, featuring fan-favorite Persona 3 Reload characters. This collaboration will run from January 30 to May 6 at all Sports Entertainment Centre Round1 centers across Japan.

A Persona pop-up shop will also be opening in Shibuya, Japan, on January 20, featuring a special collaboration where series characters are paired with Sanrio mascots. Finally, SEGA and ATLUS are bringing the Persona 30th Anniversary celebration to the Mall of Indonesia on February 7 and 8, with more details to follow.
In addition to these reveals, ATLUS announced a variety of events and collectibles, including a new merchandise line from Bandai, a Persona 5 Royal crossover with Fit Boxing 3, and a campaign offering free digital access to Persona manga.

These upcoming merchandise and events are just the beginning of Persona’s 30th anniversary celebration, as SEGA and ATLUS confirmed to share more updates throughout the year. Moreover, the exact 30th anniversary of the series will be on September 20, which is the release date of the first game of the franchise, Revelations: Persona, where many expect major announcements to be made.
Ultimately, fans are eagerly anticipating new titles for the series, including the long-awaited announcement of Persona 6. With the festivities off to a strong start and the promise of more excitement to come, the community is confident that the eventual sequel will be unveiled sooner rather than later.
