Marvel Rivals Zombie Mode Updates
Official Zombie Mode Trailer Revealed
Marvel Rivals unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming limited-time Zombies PvE mode. As announced on the game’s Twitter (X) and YouTube channel on October 21, 2025, the first-ever PvE mode for Marvel Rivals is inspired from the franchise’s TV show and comic series, Marvel Zombies.
Players will take on the undead army as Thor, Magik, Blade, the Punisher, and Jeff the Land Shark, and stop the Queen of the Dead from taking over Midtown. To aid them in combatting against hordes of zombies, the mentioned heroes will have updated skills that increase their AoE capabilities.
As seen through the trailer, these five characters will have specific buffs added to their gameplay for this mode: Thor will be constantly in awakened state, Blade will have bouncing Moon Blades around him, The Punisher summoning turrets, Magik will have unlimited darkchild form, and Jeff can dive underwater and charge through big groups of zombies.
Aside from hordes of the undead, players must also defeat Zombie Namor and the Queen of the Dead, which is a zombie version of Scarlet Witch. Between each wave, players can upgrade and customize their loadouts to find the perfect zombie-slaying playstyle for them.
The Marvel Rivals Zombies PvE mode will be available for a limited-time starting on October 23, 2025 UTC, and is expected to run until the end of Season 4.5.
Jeff O'Lantern and Namor's Phantom Tide Costumes
Alongside the upcoming release of the Zombies PvE mode, Marvel Rivals will also launch Jeff the Land Shark's Jeff O'Lantern and Namor's Phantom Tide costumes. These new skins will be available for a limited time on October 23 at 7 PM PT to November 20 at 6 PM PT.
Both outfits are part of the game’s Halloween-themed series of costumes called "Voyage to Astonish & Midnight Mayhem." Other characters that are included in the Halloween skinline are Peni Parker, Namor, Scarlet Witch, Blade, and Spiderman.
While Marvel Rivals is ramping up towards its Halloween events, the game is also gearing up for the upcoming Marvel Rivals IGNITE Grand Finals 2025 from October 27 to November 2. Additionally, the popular hero shooter will be heading to its 5th Season on November 14.
