Resident Evil: Requiem Releases New Story Trailer

Resident Evil: Requiem just dropped a new trailer, showing off gameplay and hinting at the upcoming game’s story.

The new trailer sees protagonist Grace Ashcroft and her mother as they try to escape an unknown evil prior to the events of the game. While the newly released footage features bits of gameplay, the meat of the preview comes in the form of the mother-daughter tandem’s interactions as it is implied that our heroine’s mother has a mysterious history of her own.

RE: Requiem is slated for release on February 27, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Black Myth: Zhong Kui is GameScience’s Follow-up to Wukong

Gamescom 2025 concluded with the grand announcement of Black Myth: Zhong Kui, the second entry in the Black Myth series. The single-player action RPG follows the same roots of ancient Chinese myth and folklore, and this time around features the titular "ghost-catching god who wanders between hell and Earth, Zhong Kui. The two-minute trailer gives a sneak peek of what the feared god looks like, riding regally on what seems to be his companion tiger as two civilians cower in fear.

As the first announcement trailer, there has yet to be a plausible release window, but it is projected to arrive on PC and "all mainstream console platforms" according to developer Game Science.

Silent Hill f Premieres Story Trailer at Gamescom 2025

Silent Hill f shares a new look at the upcoming new entry of Konami to the iconic horror series. This new trailer features extensive footage of the game’s narrative and is delivered through English voice acting.

Hinako’s English Voice Actor was revealed to be Suzie Yeung, who is known to voice several characters, such as Yuffie in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Makima in Chainsaw Man, and Fuuka Yamagishi in Persona 3: Reload.

Some gameplay clips were also showcased, where players must face off against grotesque figures as they traverse through twisted paths of Ebisugaoka. Silent Hill f is set to release on September 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Releases on November 14, 2025

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 finally gets a new cinematic trailer and a release date for November 14, 2025. Described as a "clash of philosophies," Black Ops 7 "threads" from Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6 and follows David "Section" Mason into 2035, where the world is no longer what it once was and the future has been "twisted" beyond hope.

Black Ops 7 promises an innovative approach to the series’ campaigns and co-op gameplay, introducing 18 launch maps that take you far beyond Avalon into other parts of the globe and even into the dark, unpredictable edges of your psyche. The game will also bring in an Endgame Mode—a culmination of all co-op campaigns, serving as the ultimate test of players’ skills.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is set to release on November 14, 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Pre-orders are available now.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Releases This October 21st

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 now has a firmer release date of October 21, 2025! The game’s compelling narrative will be played through the lens of two alternating playable characters: namely Elder vampire Phyre and Malkavian detective Fabien, with the latter residing in the vampire’s head as a disembodied voice.

By day as Phyre, players will meet the Kindred vampires of modern-day Seattle, while also uncovering secrets and hidden powers. However, at night, dreams, memories, and voices take hold so players can explore as Fabien in the setting of a neo-noir Seattle in the 1920s, determined to discover the truth behind his murder. With intriguing characters to meet, intense action-packed combat, and the ever-present bloodlust to work around with, this new installment to the cult classic will surely be an experience for both new and old players.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GoG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 21, 2025. The game can now be pre-ordered ahead of launch.

Ghost of Yotei Reveals Co-op Multiplayer DLC ‘Legends’

Traverse sweeping landscapes and fight in harsh mountaintops in Sucker Punch’s upcoming action-adventure title, Ghost of Yotei. While Ghost of Yotei is only six weeks away from its October 2nd launch, the game revealed its upcoming co-op multiplayer DLC set for 2026, Legends, which will be free for those who own the base game.

Ghost of Yotei Legends will include two-player story missions, four-player survival matches, and a slew of new enemies including gigantic demonic versions of the members of the Yotei Six.

Ghost of Yotei will be released on October 2, 2025, for PlayStation 5. Legends is set to release sometime in 2026.

The Outer Worlds 2 Unveils Official Companions Trailer

Through a trailer, "Mark," Head of Sequels at Obsidian Games, gave fans a deeper glimpse into the colorful cast of companions to recruit in-game. Each of the companions hail from their own faction, such as the Earth Directorate’s human Niles and robot Valerie, The Glorious Dawn’s assassin-like Aza, Auntie’s Choice doctor-nurse Inez, Order of the Descendant mage-esque Marisol, and hammer-wielding warrior from the Protectorate Tristan.

Notably, the trailer snarkily reminded players that while these companions are definitely attractive, this is The Outer Worlds after all, and there’s no chance for romance. "No, you can’t sleep with them," they said.

The Outer Worlds 2 is set for release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 29th.

Ninja Gaiden 4 Shows Off Gameplay in New Story Trailer

Ninja Gaiden 4 revealed a brand new trailer at this year’s Gamescom, providing context for the game’s story and giving fans a glimpse of its futuristic world and fast-paced combat.

The upcoming Team Ninja x PlatinumGames project will see players assume the role of Yakumo, a young ninja from the Raven clan, instead of Ryu Hayabusa, the protagonist of all the previous mainline games.

While the newly introduced Raven clan has fought for peace just as the Hayabusa clan, the trailer hints at a potential conflict between the two ancient factions, featuring a showdown between Yakumo and Ryu.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox on October 21, 2025.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword New Look at Gamescom 2025

A new look at the upcoming Onimusha: Way of the Sword was revealed at Gamescom 2025, featuring new boss battles and a bunch of horrifying creatures Musashi Miyamoto must face. The video introduces Chijiko, a long-necked demon that is a grotesque mass of interwoven faces.

It also features a boss fight against Greater Nue, a Chimeric beast that can harness the power of lightning, and hordes of Kogashira, which are humans warped by parasitic Genma. Additional gameplay footage includes facing multiple enemies, wielding different weapons such as an arrow and a dual-edged blade, and traversing through a lightning-riddled area.

Players can utilize a variety of defensive and offensive moves. The Deflect reflects incoming attacks, including projectiles, back at enemies. A well-timed Parry staggers foes, setting them up for a counter. Successfully parrying multiple times triggers a Blazing State, a temporary power-up that generates Blue Souls for special attacks. Players can also absorb the souls of defeated enemies to restore health and unlock abilities via Soul Absorption. Finally, the Issen is a high-risk, high-reward counterattack where you strike an enemy just before they hit you.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is now available for wishlist for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4 Coming This 2026

Get ready to fight to the death this 2026 in Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4! It has been eight years since the release of Dawn of War 3, and the long-awaited sequel has finally made itself known. The latest installment is set to release next year, and will be helmed by KING Art Games instead of original developer Relic.

Players will be set to play a four-part campaign for the planet of Kronus, with four distinct factions available to go through at launch. Notably, base-building also makes a comeback to the series after being removed in the Dawn of War 2 and 3.

Physiological Horror PvPvE Shooter Project Spectrum, Unveiled

Delta Force developer Team Jade introduces its latest flagship title: Project Spectrum—a terrifying tactical PvPvE shooter where each player must "fight against monsters, other players, and [their] own sanity."

The trailer follows a nameless Operator grappling with loss and struggling to relive the events of a harrowing campaign during a post-mission debrief. As the trailer progresses, so does the breakdown of the main character’s sanity, warping their environment and the beings in their vicinity until they are unable to distinguish between friend and foe. The gameplay also begins to take on a different tone when the player transforms into a creature that is all too similar to the monsters seeking to destroy them, allowing them to navigate their surroundings in new and impossible ways.

As Project Spectrum is Team Jade’s newest project, more news will surely come in the future. Until then, we will continue to keep track of updates.

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Announced for 2026

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has just been revealed alongside a trailer featuring some of the caped crusader’s most iconic foes, namely the Joker, Penguin, Bane, and Catwoman. A playable demo will also be available on the Gamescom show floor.

The Head of Lego Batman’s Development Team, Jonathan Smith, describes Legacy of the Dark Knight’s story as definitive and essential, spanning Bruce Wayne’s entire stint as Batman. In typical Lego fashion, the upcoming game promises to include references to everything Batman, from iconic movie references to deep cuts for hardcore fans.

For the first time ever, difficulty settings will be available in a Lego game as Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will include a "Caped Crusader" and "Dark Knight" mode for those looking for a greater challenge.

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is slated for release sometime in 2026 on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch 2, and PC.

Lords of the Fallen 2 Coming This 2026

Harness the darkness within and claim retribution as you save the world in Lords of the Fallen 2. This upcoming standalone sequel expands the Umbral Realm, set 100 years after the events of the first game.

Developer CI Games promises to improve upon its soulslike RPG elements with a faster pace and more punishing bosses. The game was first released during Gamescom Opening Live 2025 and has now announced its release window.

La Divina Commedia, A Dark Fantasy ARPG Based on the Divine Comedy, Revealed

From the developers who brought Enotria: The Last Song comes La Divina Commedia, debuting with a teaser trailer that sets the tone for the new dark fantasy ARPG title. Inspired by Dante Alighieri’s opus La Divina Commedia, the game sees players take on the role of a warrior-poet who must descend through the circles of hell to face powerful demons and "redeem a sinful past".

Jyamma Games promises to deliver an experience of epic proportions with unique gameplay mechanics for every weapon class, procedurally-generated extraction dungeons, a narrative-driven alignment system, and fully craftable and customizable weapons and armor.

Zero Parades Revealed at Gamescom 2025

Disco Elysium’s studio ZA/UM unveils its next game, Zero Parades, a narrative-driven espionage RPG.

Zero Parades follows a spy who goes by the name Hersel, one that the narrator described to have a wellworn life nearing its end. The visuals echo that of Disco Elysiums’ neon-soaked rooms and oil-painted streetscapes, building the visage of a broken world. The game puts players into Hersel’s shoes as she navigates through the garbage-strewn streets and climbs tall rickety towers.

Zero Parades was described as "a dive into the shadowy world of espionage where the truth can be stranger than fiction. Where every failure isn’t the end, but the start of a new path.". The game is now available for wishlist on Steam.

Death by Scrolling Now Available for Wishlist

Survive the constant threat of the ever-moving screen and don’t stop in Death by Scrolling. This new title is from the legendary game designer Ron Gilbert, known for his work on The Secret of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion.

This vertically-scrolling roguelike is a Zelda-inspired pixel RPG where players must race upward through a constantly scrolling screen, fighting enemies, collecting gold, dodging traps, and avoiding the gripping claws of the Grim Reaper.

The main goal is to collect 10,000 coins to pay the Ferryman to escape the wretched Purgatory. Death by Scrolling is now available for wishlist on PC.

Europa Universalis V Teased at Gamescom

The long-awaited Europa Universalis V debuted a new teaser at Opening Night Live, announcing the availability of pre-orders. While the teaser was short, it was able to give fans a preview of its 2D map, UI, and in-engine graphics.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault Early Access Announced for October

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has just been announced, promising to give fans more of the shopkeeping roguelite mechanics that made its predecessor stand out.

The franchise has gotten a makeover, featuring an updated combat system and moving on from 2D sprites to 3D gameplay with an isometric camera. While the game is getting a new look, much of what made Moonlighter a success remains as the game follows series protagonist Will as he balances managing a small business with fighting monsters across dimensions.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is set to come to early access on October 23, 2025 on PC. Early access will feature 3 biomes, over 120 sellable relics, and a slew of new enemies.

Fate Trigger Early Access Set to Release Q1 2026

Developer Saroasis Studios unveiled the Early Access release date for its upcoming 3D anime-style hero shooter, Fate Trigger: The Novita. The new release date trailer features cinematic sequences featuring some of the game’s characters duking it out.

Delta Force Console Versions Launch Today

Team Jade’s 32v32 extraction shooter and looter, Delta Force, will be launching on consoles today for free.

Players can expect welcoming events, rewards, and exclusive bundles that feature epic weapons upon booting up the game. The Black Hawk Down Campaign mode will also be coming as free DLC.

Deadpool VR Release Date Confirmed in New Trailer

Deadpool VR has just received an official release date of November 18, 2025 by way of a brand-new story trailer at Gamescom Opening Night Live.

The upcoming VR title will see players take on the role of Deadpool as he journeys through the extradimensional realm of Mojoworld. Here, the merc with a mouth enters a contract with entertainment mogul Mojo, voiced by John Leguizamo, tasking him with kidnapping the likes of Mephisto, Omega Red, and Lady Deathstrike for the sake of clicks and ratings.

Featuring a freeform combat and parkour system, Deadpool VR will reward players for their creativity and flair with access to some strangely familiar weapons like the mighty Mojo-nir hammer and Mojo’s Crazy Cajun Cards.

Deadpool VR is set to launch on November 18, 2025, exclusively on Meta Quest 3 and 3S.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando finally got its gameplay premiere at Gamescom ONL, showcasing quintessential 80s action-horror zombie violence set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players will be acting as mercenaries on a quest to help undo a botched experiment that triggered the rise of the undead.

This game’s robust co-op gameplay will encourage players to blast through hordes of zombies and run over grotesque beasts—all in the name of saving the world with your buddies right by your side.

Toxic Commando is slated for release in Early 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Fortnite x Squid Games Front Man Arrives August 26

A new update on the collaboration between Fortnite and Squid Game comes with the upcoming release of Frontman, the main antagonist in the hit Korean series. Fans can expect more Squid Game-themed cosmetics and items with his arrival, including his iconic mask.

Additionally, the Fortnite x Squid Games collaboration continues with more UEFN maps and games, further expanding this successful crossover. Frontman is set to arrive on Fortnite on August 26.

World of Warcraft Midnight is the MMO’s 11th Expansion, Coming This 2026

Blizzard Entertainment dropped a cinematic reveal trailer for their MMO’s 11th expansion, World of Warcraft Midnight, launching this 2026! This massive expansion is set to bring players back to the surface, where the Void poses an immense threat. Both new and familiar maps make themselves known, such as the revamped Silvermoon City and the Forest Trolls’ homeland of Zul’Aman, to name a few.

Aside from the introduction of the gripping story and battles of the Light and the Void, players will finally receive a long-awaited feature: Player Housing. Form public or private communities with up to ~50 other players and make use of the extensive customization options available with hundreds of decor items. A new race called the Haranir, a new Class Specialization named the Devourer Demon Hunter, and several QoL updates will also be included in the expansion.

Monster Hunter Wilds x Final Fantasy XIV Special Collaboration Set for September and October 2025

Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy XIV are partnering up for a special collaboration happening later this year. The two events will see monsters from both games crossing over, beginning in late September with Monster Hunter Wilds welcoming Chocobos, the Final Fantasy series’ mascots, and introducing Omega Planetes—the mecha boss from Final Fantasy XIV—through a new narrative quest.

Likewise, October marks the commencement of the Final Fantasy XIV crossover event, during which players can encounter Arkveld and enlist the help of Monster Hunter Wilds’ Seikrets as mounts.

There are no definitive dates yet for the collaboration events, but we’ll be sure to update this article when more information comes out!

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 DLC: Legacy of the Forge Releases September 9

Forge ahead to the clanging of iron with Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s upcoming story expansion, Legacy of the Forge. The new story follows Henry’s journey to become a master blacksmith at Kuttenberg’s guild.

Developers Warhorse Studios claims that a brand-new home customization system will launch in the new expansion, with over 361 million personalization combinations possible. Blacksmithing also gets an upgrade with the addition of Kuttenberg’s blacksmith guild, blacksmithing commissions, and blueprints for new armor and weapons.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2’s Legacy of the Forge expansion is set to release on September 9, 2025.

Cult of the Lamb Woolhaven DLC Announced

The hit 2022 roguelike Cult of the Lamb will be receiving a "major expansion" come early 2026 in the form of the newly announced Woolhaven DLC.

Woolhaven will see players explore a brand-new area of the same name, which includes two new dungeons: one featuring a snowy wasteland and another filled with brimstone and magma.

The paid DLC will also introduce new mechanics to its community management side, tasking players with protecting their cult from the elements and taming different types of rare beasts.

Cult of the Lamb’s Woolhaven DLC is set to release sometime in 2026.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants DLC Releases September 4

Join the doctor in his next adventure, as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle shows off its first gameplay look at its newest story DLC, The Order of Giants, releasing on September 4.

The upcoming DLC will plunge players into the heart of Italy, where they must uncover long-forgotten dark secrets beneath the busy streets of Rome. The story DLC will be set during the events of the main campaign and will introduce new locations, puzzles, and enemies.

Set out on a new expedition when Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s The Order of Giants DLC releases this September 4, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Age of Empires IV Anniversary Edition Coming on PlayStation 5 November 4

Microsoft has yet to add another Xbox exclusive title to PlayStation 5 with Age of Empires IV Anniversary Edition. Based on The Seven Deadly Sins manga and anime, Origin promises an expansive open world set in the fictional continent of Britannia with a brand-new multiversal storyline. Players will be able to customize their playstyle and experience by collecting heroes.

inZOI Island Getaway DLC Announced for August 20, 2025

Cronos: The New Dawn Drops New Trailer Featuring Puzzles and Combat

Fans got a brand-new look at Cronos: The New Dawn at Gamescom Opening Night Live through a never-before-seen trailer. While the trailer featured some haunting visuals, it also showed off a bit of the upcoming survival horror’s combat and puzzles.

Beyond just the trailer, but the Bloober Team presentation also gave fans a closer look at the role they’ll be stepping into by having a real-life Traveler on stage. As described by Gamescom host Geoff Keighley, Travelers are "[agents] of a shadowy faction known only as ‘The Collective.’"

Cronos: The New Dawn is slated for release on September 5, 2025 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Pre-orders are now available for both the standard and deluxe editions of the game, with deluxe pre-orders also including 48 hours of early access.

Time Takers Steam Playtest Announced

NCSOFT’s new game pulls in rogues across the timescape in this offbeat third-person shooter battle royale. The trailer sets up the background for Time Takers, showing a burnt out knight stabbed unceremoniously outside a bar, only to be transmigrated into a futuristic world along with other individuals. In order to win these all-out battles, players must collect Time Energy, a valuable resource that can be used to become stronger, revive teammates, and turn the tide of battle.

Time Takers will be hosting an official Playtest soon, and though a specific date hasn’t been given, we’ll be sure to provide more updates in the future.

Cinder City Gameplay Premiere at Gamescom 2025

Cinder City, formerly known as Project LLL during its initial reveal in 2022, dropped an exclusive trailer at the event, featuring its seamless open-world and shooting combat gameplay with giant mech multiplayer battles and monster fights. As futuristic knights, players will set on a journey across post-apocalyptic Seoul, battling through high-tech battlegrounds and traversing through iconic locations around the city—all in search for the protagonist’s missing daughter.

Developed by BigFire Games and published by NCSOFT, Cinder City is set to arrive on PC and consoles sometime in 2026.

Arknights: Endfield Showcased at Gamescom 2025

Hypergryph shows off its upcoming open-world action RPG, Arknights: Endfield, in a new trailer featuring its base-building and resource management mechanics, combat, and playable characters.

The trailer dives into the long-term goal of the players as narrated through the character Perlica’s thoughts, which is for the Automated Industry Complex (AIC) to link the "shattered world". AIC refers to the base-building system where players construct and manage production lines which is featured as a core gameplay mechanic. Moreover, otherworldly dangers occupy the land and it will be necessary for the players to fend them off.

Arknights: Endfield is currently in development for PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices.

More Honor of Kings: World Gameplay Footage Revealed

Honor of Kings: World has released a new cinematic trailer revealing more hints about the game’s storyline on top of additional gameplay footage. The trailer showed vast stretches of land and battles with ancient entities that dwell in futuristic ruins—a perfect set-up for the brand new open-world installment of the popular title by Tencent.

The trailer also showcased grand co-op battles and dynamic combat with automated beasts. Though there are no updates on the game’s release, we’ll continue to post more information on Honor of Kings: World.

Neverness to Everness Shows Off New Gameplay Footage

A new Neverness to Everness trailer has debuted at Gamescom 2025, featuring a mix of new gameplay footage and visually stunning cinematics.

Perfect World Games will also be letting players at Gamescom experience the game’s sprawling environment, vehicular gameplay, and exciting combat first-hand through an exclusive demo of the game on PC and PS5.

World of Tanks 2.0 Coming this September

World of Tanks is getting a massive 2.0 update on September 1 (APAC servers) and September 3 (EU, NA servers). The 15-year-old popular tank battle game update 2.0 is its most ambitious yet, with the introduction of 16 Tier XI tanks complete with a new PvE event to show them off at their best, rebalancing tweaks for over 350 vehicles, an enhanced UI, and even a new map called Nordskar, a location set in Scandinavia.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Demo Now Available

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion dropped a free demo just weeks before the game is set to release in September. The demo is available to play on all its platforms, allowing players to experience the first nine chapters of the story, its high-octane armored action-packed combat gameplay, as well as to explore its open world on foot, on horseback, or even through flying. It will also include the option for online co-op with up to three other players. Additionally, save files played through the demo will be transferable to the full game on launch.

This new trailer focuses on Mr. House and his plan in this post-apocalyptic world. The upcoming season also debuts several Fallout staples, such as Caesar’s Legion, the Dino Dee-lite motel, and the horrifying Deathclaw.

Fallout Season 2 is set to premiere on December 17 on Amazon Prime Video.

Sekiro No Defeat Announced for 2026

Dive back into the Sengoku era as the official anime adaptation of the critically acclaimed Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, named Sekiro: No Defeat, is now in production. The 2019 soulslike is being adapted by the studio Qzil.la and directed by Kenichi Kutsuna.

Director Kutsuna promises to pour "every ounce of our artistic vision and passion for beauty into its production", hoping to leave a lasting impression on both old and new fans of Sekiro.

Sekiro: No Defeat is scheduled for a 2026 release and will be coming exclusively to the streaming platform Crunchyroll.

It’s not just copium this time—Hollow Knight: Silksong will finally be playable at Gamescom 2025, with a demo available at the Xbox booth following the Opening Night Live program. The game will be accessible on both PC and the Xbox ROG Ally, Xbox’s new handheld device first revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase during SGF 2025.

That initial showcase for the ROG Ally notably featured a brief teaser with never-before-seen snippets of Silksong gameplay.

The Outer Worlds 2 Will Have Its Exclusive Theater Presentation

The Outer Worlds 2 will also be making an appearance at Gamescom 2025, with Obsidian Entertainment offering what it calls an “exclusive guided theater experience” set inside the Tomb of the Matriarch.

Unfortunately, this showcase won’t include a playable demo at the Xbox booth. However, attendees will still have plenty to explore, with hands-on demos available for several other major titles coming to Xbox.
