Resident Evil Requiem Exclusive Footage Revealed

Capcom revealed more exclusive footage of the new era of the iconic horror series, Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). In this new video, the developers provide a brief overview of what fans can expect from the game, which features its new lead character, Grace Ashencroft.
The footage introduced a huge monster that hunts Grace down as she tries to explore her surroundings. Producer Masato Kumazawa highlighted the differences between the first-person and third-person camera views, giving players various experiences on how they may approach the game.
The game will present unknown horror as Grace takes on numerous terrifying threats that are new to the series. Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on February 27, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
NIKKE: Goddess of Victory Collaborates with Resident Evil

Resident Evil’s Jill Valentine will make her way to NIKKE: Goddess of Victory in an exclusive collaboration, revealed by a quick 20-second trailer shown during the event. At the beginning of the trailer, a mysterious cult appeared to be in the middle of an eerie ritual, with NIKKE character Poli cowering behind a gravestone in wait. The scene then shifts to Jill Valentine, who seems to have eliminated a grave threat with the quick fire of her gun.
The collaboration event’s release date and whether or not there will be other iconic Resident Evil characters coming into the fray have yet to be confirmed.
The Blood of Dawnwalker Deep Dive at Future Games Show at Gamescom 2025

Rebel Wolves unveiled more information about their new vampire RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker. The developers explained the unique concept of the game being confined within 30 days, and its dual system of players having to navigate between day and night.
This system expands the gameplay, offering unique combat differences between protagonist Coen in human and vampire form. It also affects how players traverse the world, giving each form advantages and disadvantages in exploration.
All the choices players make matter as the world adapts to their decisions, presenting unpredictable outcomes and story routes. The Blood of Dawnwalker is set to release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Coming 2026

Jump Space is the latest mission-based multiplayer PvE game set in space, featuring dizzying flights across the sky and exciting battles with your friends. In Jump Space, you will be taking on missions with your crew, taking your spaceships across deep space, and engaging in battles with enemies.
Jump Space gameplay involves driving your own ship and leaping onto other ships to commandeer them. It will also include space walks, coordinated and fast-paced gunfights, and thrilling air battles.
Jump Space will be released on Early Access this September 19, 2025.
Halloween: The Game Comes Spooking in Sometime in 2026

Concluding the Future Games Show was the trailer of Halloween: The Game, an asymmetric stealth horror game based on the classic 1978 John Carpenter film with a story mode and a co-op multiplayer mode, set to come in 2026.
Step into its chilling world as either Michael Myers, the famed antagonist who stalks and executes the citizens of Haddonfield, or one of the Civilians who are aiming to put an end to his plans and to save their fellow townspeople. In homage to the original film, developer IllFonic recreated Haddonfield authentically, with multiple maps and locations to explore and play in. Halloween: The Game hopes to deliver the same terror and fear the film did to both new and older generations, game style.
Phantom Blade Zero Release Date Announcement Coming Later This Year

Phantom Blade Zero is an action-packed RPG that focuses on Chinese martial arts and weapons, offering unique gameplay with its deep references to the Souls genre. However, the developers emphasized their new take on the genre, delivering a fast-paced and combo-filled style of combat.
It also offers three levels of completion, with the first one dedicated to the average player reveals only 30-40% of the whole game. Developer S-Game promises a title that has never been seen before.
Phantom Blade Zero is being developed for PC and PlayStation 5, with its release date to be announced later this year.

The new action-adventure game by Midgar Studios is set to release in early 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
New Sci-Fi Adventure, Lunar Strike, Takes Its First Step

Explore the dark side of the moon in this intriguing new story-driven sci-fi adventure game, Lunar Strike, following a "tech-altered" archivist who must brave the yawning craters of the moon on her mission to explore and archive what’s left of a dying lunar colony. The trailer showcased cold, eerie visuals of the moon and the lunar colony, reminiscent of our favorite sci-fi films set in space.
Lunar Strike has no release window yet, but it can now be wishlisted on Steam and is confirmed to be playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Kaidan Steps Out of the Shadows With a Reveal Trailer

Gruesome and grimdark Kaidan is the new and upcoming Japanese horror game by 5th Column Studio, featuring brutal fights against grotesque and horrific yokai and other entities inspired by familiar Japanese folk myths and cosmic horror. As a player, you will explore the land of Ikaiguchi through the eyes of a Seeker on a quest to hunt down Chordbearers.
In order to survive the treacherous Ikaiguchi, you must prepare for each mission to the best of your abilities and manage your resources wisely. Be wary of dangers lurking in your surroundings, and fight tooth and nail to achieve victory against merciless enemies.

Survival-crafting adventure Witchspire revealed an exclusive world premiere cinematic trailer, revealing its magical and witchy world with hidden secrets and mysteries lurking about, just begging to be discovered. The game can be wishlisted on its Steam page ahead of its release.
In this co-op survival adventure game, players can either play solo or with friends as novice witches and wizards who have been spirited away and are now striving to find their way back home. However, darkness and malice lurk in the shadows, and it’s up to you to cleanse the land of evil.
It aims to present itself as a game for everyone, with gameplay mechanics that allow players to do what they want. Survival elements such as crafting and resource management, creature collecting elements like raising bonds with Familiars, and adventure-RPG elements in an open world ripe for exploration, are all part of the game.

Call of the Elder Gods Coming Soon

Call of the Elder Gods is a first-person, Lovecraftian narrative puzzle adventure that is the sequel to the 2020 indie game, Call of the Sea. The game continues the series, 30 years apart from the first title.
It follows two protagonists, Professor Harry Everhart and student Evangeline Drayton, as they investigate mysterious phenomena and their missing loved ones. The game expands upon its predecessor's formula, featuring object-based puzzles, a dual-protagonist mechanic, and a darker, more cosmic horror-focused tone.

Hope in the City is a narrative mystery game that explores the darkest secrets of a city filled with mysteries and dark turns. It follows the story of a 17-year-old Hope Song, who discovers that her parents suddenly went mysteriously gone missing.

FGS also invited Anno 117: Pax Romana’s Creative Director, Manuel Reinher, for an interview, during which he discussed the innovative features that Pax Romana brings to the city-building RTS genre, such as its breathtaking and immersive visuals, geographical design, and its blend of "city-building, economic simulation, and forex elements".

PRAGMATA Launches in 2026

Explore the mysterious phenomena of a space station that has oddly experienced multiple malfunctions, guided by an android kid in PRAGMATA. This new title by Capcom offers a unique gameplay experience with its innovative puzzle-solving shooter combat.
Players are sent into a lunar space station that focuses on research on Luna filament, a material that is used to create anything, as long as there is data for it. An outage of signal tasks protagonist Hugh Williams and a team to investigate, but a sudden lunar quake hits and separates him from the rest.
He falls deep into the station, but is saved by an android named Diana that is created by Luna filament. With her hacking ability, players must navigate the depths of the dangerous station and reach Earth. This gameplay also extends to the game’s exploration, as players must solve puzzles and systems to progress.

Little Nightmares 3 Coming on October 10, 2025

Explore the wonders and mysteries of the creepy carnival in Little Nightmares 3. The developers shared new footage of the game featuring the dark and twisted area of Carnevale, where players must escape the seemingly fun yet bone-chilling carnival with a friend.
In the video, they highlighted the importance of keen senses and collaboration as the game requires cooperation between both players to move on to each level. Although intricate puzzles block the path of players, sometimes, all they have to do is run for their lives.
Most of the time, however, stealth and silence are the greatest weapons to escape the wretched carnival. For the first time in the series, players can play online with a friend, but for those who want to go solo, the game can be played with a helpful AI companion.

New gun-toting, pizza-flipping FPS Pizza Bandit will soon be available for Early Access on August 25, 2025, playable on PC. Juggle your bounty-hunting job while moonlighting as a pizza chef in this chaotic third-person co-op shooter.
The early access launch trailer showed more of the gameplay mechanics. As a bounty hunter, you must go to different locales to battle powerful monsters using a wide array of weapons and suits to aid you in your missions. On a planet called Era, it is customary for its inhabitants to be bound to one of the Seven Deadly Sins at birth, assigned to them through the Nexus Ritual, a religious ceremony. For the rest of their life, these citizens must fight against the impulses and urges of their sins, lest they fail and turn into mindless beasts. However, a failed Nexus Ritual for a pair of twins resulted in an unexpected outcome—one twin inherited all seven sins, while the other remained pure.

Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori Comes to Early Access in November

Future Games Show also offered an in-depth look into the devs’ approach to creating Fellowship in an interview with Hamish Bode, Community Director, who refers to the game as a "MODA", a multiplayer online dungeon adventure that blends elements of Action RPGs, MOBAs, and MMOs. Fellowship is also said to boast a lower barrier of entry, with no "no subscription, no leveling grind, no chores, and no reputation farming."
Hamish Bode also announced that Fellowship will be hosting an Open Beta from September 18 to 23, nearly one month before the game’s scheduled release.

In a two-minute trailer, Kitten Cup Studio CEO and creative director Saffron Aurora shared more about the upcoming game, encouraging explorative gameplay, for there are many things in its world to discover, with many actions leading to fun consequences. "I think if you loved A Short Hike and Untitled Goose Game, you’ll really love Capy Castaway," she commented.

The Remake of the End of the Greatest RPG of All Time is a unique meta-fictional deduction puzzle game that places players at the end of a lost, non-existent 1990s JRPG and challenges them with how to progress.
It features puzzle-solving mechanics with the use of a digital manual, developer commentary, and archival footage from a fictional, unreleased documentary of the game. Its 3D pixel art style is reminiscent of classic titles, which explore themes of nostalgia and the concept of video game remakes.

However, the gameplay trailer seems to hint that not everything is as it seems with Jason; it’s possible that as you venture deeper into the shadows, you will uncover more secrets about Jason and his family.

WILL: Follow the Light is a narrative-driven puzzle-solving game that follows the story of Will, a man set on a perilous journey to be reunited with his family after a disaster struck their hometown. Despite harsh conditions in the northern latitudes, he takes on anything in his way to get back with his loved ones.
The game blends exploration, puzzle-solving, and traversal across diverse environments, including sailing on endless waters and traveling by dog sled. It focuses on a compelling and emotional story, inspired by the hit game Firewatch.
WILL: Follow the Light is being developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and is now open for playtesters. Its public demo will be released at Steam’s Next Fest in October.

Militsonier Playtest Now Available

Another one of the many new games introduced in the Future Games Show is Militsonier, an unsettling and immersive first-person stealth game in which every move you make is monitored by a 100-foot-tall policeman, a-la-Big Brother—except, the game will allow you to interact with the policeman directly, which you can achieve by gaining his attention through crimes such as breaking and entering and theft under his near-panoptic gaze. You can even flatter and romance him, if you so desire.
If you want to experience what this intriguing game from CRITICAL REFLEX (Mouthwashing, Buckshot Roulette) has to offer, Militsonier’s playtest is now open to players on PC and will be available for the next two weeks.
Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road

Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road is a tower survivor roguelite that is now available to play on demo and is slated for release this coming Autumn, 2025. The announcement trailer revealed more gameplay footage of the player running across the map as their city slowly wheels itself toward an unseen destination, known as the Arch.
As the city’s sole defender, you must collect resources, manage them accordingly, build your city, and drive away hordes of monsters in order to reach your final destination.
As of writing, the Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road demo is only available on PC.
God Save Birmingham Pre-Alpha Sign Ups Now Open
