Good news for aggravated completionists of FF7 Rebirth, a patch is underway to fix the progress bug stopping you from beating the game 100%.

FF7 Rebirth "Can't Stop Won't Stop" Sidequest Stops for Players

Rest Assured the Dev Team is On It

Final Fantasy 7 (FF7) Rebirth Patch Update 1.02 inadvertently disrupted players looking to obtain the game's Platinum Trophy, as the previously implemented update affected the "Can't Stop Won't Stop" sidequest wherein players must surpass high scores in its minigames. Following the update, the sidequest became bugged and stopped progression in the G-Bike minigame even if players get over 32,000 points.

Square Enix promptly addressed the issue on Twitter (X): "We're aware of an issue stopping progress in the 'Can't Stop Won't Stop' sidequest. This is scheduled to be fixed in the next patch. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for your patience and support while we work to address this issue."

While an exact release date for the next patch was not confirmed, players can expect the update to roll out sooner rather than later, given that the first patch was rolled out a few weeks after the game's launch. We have shared a fix for the bug, but unfortunately, this only works for those with a physical copy of the game.
