Woochi the Wayfarer Overview
Woochi the Wayfarer is an upcoming single-player fantasy action-adventure game developed by LoreVault Studio and published by Nexon Games. It is set in a fantastical version of Korea's Joseon era, realized using the Unreal Engine 5.
The game revolves around a story inspired by the classic Korean novel "The Tale of Jeon Woochi." While specific gameplay mechanics have not been fully detailed, the game promises a narrative-driven experience with "thrilling action" and "fast-paced combat" against traditional Korean monsters.
Woochi the Wayfarer is believed to be the formal title for the game previously known as "Project V." The project was initially revealed as a tech demo by Nexon's sub-brand, MINTROCKET, in August 2023.
A cinematic teaser trailer has been released, but it does not contain gameplay. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with no exact release date announced.
