Windrose Overview
Windrose is an open-world survival adventure set in an alternate Age of Piracy, where players will take on the role of a captain exploring both land and sea. Developed by indie group Windrose Crew and published under Pocketpair, the title is making waves as an original IP. The pirate game is set to release on Steam and Epic Games on April 14, 2026 for Early Access.

Windrose Gameplay
Windrose takes on a “build, craft, survive” loop, where players gather resources, construct bases, and explore a variety of areas across the waters. Players can sail their own ship, engage in naval battles, and seamlessly move between sea and land while fighting enemies using both melee weapons and firearms. The game is also available in solo or co-op, with progress for each adventure able to carry over.
