PUBG introduces its Stellar Blade collab for patch 41.1, coming April 8. Check out what fans can expect in the upcoming update and what the Stellar Blade crossover will look like.
PUBG: Battlegrounds x Stellar Blade Launches April 8
Coming April 8 on PC and April 16 on Consoles

PUBG: Battlegrounds is collaborating with Stellar Blade to bring the sleek aesthetics of the sci-fi action RPG to the world of tactical battle royale. As announced on the game's official social media channels on April 7, this highly anticipated crossover is scheduled to launch on April 8 for PC, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases on April 16 after their respective maintenance times.
The upcoming collaboration introduces PUBG’s third Contender, Stellar Blade’s EVE, a high-tier skin that delivers a revamped progression system unlike previous Contenders. Leveling her up unlocks various options for her appearance and hair colors, giving players more choices for customization.
Alongside her is a new Contraband Crate that contains a brand-new Progressive weapon skin and Chroma for the Kar98k. The Cosmic Caliber - Kar98k can be leveled up to 10, where players can earn bonus cosmetics, animations, battle stats, kill effects, and more.
PUBG x aespa Returns

Due to popular demand and the collab’s successful run, PUBG has officially reintroduced its aespa collaboration items to the Workshop for April 2026. Originally debuting in July 2025, the crossover brought an extensive lineup of cosmetics and rewards themed after the global K-pop group, and its return marks a significant moment for collectors who missed the first window.
Players can once again utilize the Specialty Crafting tab to hunt for signature items like the "Supernova" themed weapon skins and member-specific character sets. There will be a total of 20 items that fans can craft using the aespa Tokens they earn through Loot Boxes, which include costume sets for Karina, Giselle, Ningning, and Winter, emote packs, sprays, and others.
The Special Crafting - aespa Crafting tab will only be available until May 5, 2026, across PC and consoles.
Patch 41.1 Adds Limited-Time Xeno Point Mode
Beyond the collab events, PUBG’s upcoming patch 41.1 features a plethora of new content to the game, including the limited-time game mode, Xeno Point. This PvE/PvP hybrid mode is set on Miramar, where players must defend against an invading force and collect items using the Event Pass: Xeno Point.
Meanwhile, Destructible Terrain will now be featured on Erangel, allowing players to reshape the iconic map’s landscape using explosives or the newly added Pickaxe. The weapon meta shifts with two new attachments: the Hybrid Scope (1x/4x toggle) and the Tilted Grip, while several underused firearms, such as the Mosin Nagant and DP-28, are slated for removal in June.

On the gameplay and content front, players can now utilize the Emergency Support Flare to call in utility-focused supply drops and interact with a revamped Jammer Pack system that now features three distinct tiers. A new strategic element, the Blue Chip Tower Supply Call, allows teams to trade enemy Blue Chips for care packages, adding a high-risk, high-reward mechanic to the mid-game.
Aside from these additions, the update also brings several adjustments to Ranked mode and a slew of bug fixes regarding gameplay, world, UX/UI, and cosmetics. The full patch notes for Update 41.1 are available on PUBG’s official website.

With over nine years of history, PUBG remains a powerhouse in the battle royale genre, consistently evolving with each major update. High-profile collaborations like Stellar Blade and the return of aespa serve as testaments to the game's enduring dominance in the space it originally helped popularize and establish.
PUBG: Battlegrounds is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games. Update 41.1 is set to launch on April 8 for PC and April 16 for consoles.
