Hotel Barcelona Overview
Hotel Barcelona is an original 2.5D action roguelite from the highly anticipated creative collaboration between SUDA51 (NO MORE HEROES) and SWERY (DEADLY PREMONITION). The game takes place in a mysterious hotel on the border of Pennsylvania and West Virginia, a cursed location that serves as a gathering spot for America's most depraved serial killers, each themed after 1980s horror icons.
Players take on the role of rookie U.S. Marshal Justine, who must navigate the hotel's seven horror-themed floors and their unique bosses by channeling her dark, murderous second personality, Dr. Carnival, to survive. It is a fast-paced, hack-and-slash experience that features the "Blood is Power" system and "Slasher Phantom" mechanic:
In addition to the single-player roguelite loop, the game includes online co-op and a high-stakes PvP invasion mode where players can become adversarial doppelgängers, dueling for weapon tier upgrades and the coveted "Bloody Marshal Badge."

Hotel Barcelona Gameplay
Hotel Barcelona is a 2.5D action roguelite where U.S. Marshal Justine fights serial killer bosses across seven horror-themed hotel floors by channeling her alter ego, Dr. Carnival. It is a fast-paced hack-and-slash game that uses the "Blood is Power" system.
Players can also utilizie the unique "Slasher Phantom" mechanic: where when a player dies, a ghost of their previous run is created to automatically fight as an ally in their next attempt. There is also a co-op multiplayer option and a PvP Invasion mode where players can sabotage each other’s run.
