Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game Overview
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is an officially licensed, 1v1 fighting game set in the Avatar universe. It was announced in October 2025 and is planned for release in summer 2026 on PC and current-gen consoles. The game brings together heroes and villains from across the Avatar: The Last Airbender series for head-to-head bouts. Visuals and move design are based on the elemental bending concepts that define the shows.
Alongside a launch roster of a dozen characters, the developers have confirmed a single-player campaign with an original story. Early trailers and store listings emphasize hand-drawn 2D animation and competitive features such as rollback netcode and full cross-play. The developer has also signaled support characters/assists that alter "your fighting style and grant special moves."
The studio has announced a closed alpha for the fighting game, which will feature a small selection of fighters. No public dates have been published, however.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game Gameplay
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is a 1v1 fighting game where players pick a character and face off against another. Combat uses a hand-drawn two-dimensional animation style, and the presentation is grounded in a classic fighting game structure (i.e., normal attacks, special moves, air and ground attacks, and so on). The roster at launch is planned for twelve fighters, each representing different blending styles, and the game supports full cross-play and rollback netcode for online matches.
The game is said to have "supporting characters" that "influence your fighting style and grant special moves."
