Jason loves to play all sorts of games, from RPGs, Adventure, Action, Puzzle, Roguelikes, Strategy, and FPS. His favorite FPS is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (before CS2 ruined it), where he was able to reach Legendary Eagle rank, before recognizing he should probably get a life. He’s a huge fan of the Final Fantasy series, where his favorite is, of course, FF6. Though, he holds FF15 dearly to his heart due to a number of reasons, most prominently the inclusion of the artist, Florence + the Machine, being a part of the already-amazing soundtrack. He’s also a fan of the Devil May Cry Series, where he has spent the most hours on 5, where he’s able to pull off a variety of combos using Nero, Dante, and Vergil (no one cares about V).
Aside from the big mainstream triple-A games, he has a soft spot for indie darlings, most prominently UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE, Hades/Hades 2, Thunder Lotus Games (Spiritfarer, Sundered), and any artsy game such as GRIS or NEVA or pixel-art heavens such as Shovel Knight or Celeste.
He also has a soft spot for Metroidvanias, having grown up playing numerous Castlevania titles across handhelds and emulators (a lot of emulators). He’s currently on a Metroidvania-playing streak challenge, where he intends to finally play Hollow Knight for the first time in time for its release in 2025 (definitely, possibly, probably, hopefully).
Lastly, he’s a big fan of story-driven games, where his cringey guilty pleasure is the Life is Strange series, which has unfortunately taken a steep downhill cliff-like plunge in quality. Lost Records looks good however, and he’s excited to try it out when he can.

It all began on the day of Jason’s actual birth, where both his parents failed to show up.
Because of that, he grew to take an interest with reading, writing, yapping, drawing, animating, programming/coding, cooking, eating, walking, running, taking photos, climbing/bouldering, and watching movies/series/anime/pro-wrestling (not WWE, but ACTUAL pro-wrestling).
