Get Ready to Unlock Iconic Outfits and Lightsabers
Fortnite players can go see for themselves what the highly anticipated collaboration between their game and Star Wars looks like, since Fortnite just dropped a trailer on Tuesday showcasing the event's exclusive content. Play as a Clone Trooper, Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala, and even Darth Maul while duking it out with laser rifles and light sabers.
One exciting detail the trailer revealed was the use of Force powers, with which you can perform dazzling jumps and throw rocks at your opponents. This offers a unique twist to the gameplay mechanics and allows players to experiment with Star Wars-themed weapons.
Find the Force Quest
Train Like a Jedi or a Sith To Gain a Galactic Reputation
Players can also participate in the Find the Force Quest and get Galactic Reputation points by completing numerous tasks to advance their Jedi or Sith talents. These include learning from Jedi or Sith mentors, dealing damage with lightsabers, and searching Republic chests for valuables.
Players may keep tabs on their progress by checking the Galactic Reputation tab in the lobby. The more Galactic Reputation points they accumulate, the more rewards they can unlock.
Star Wars Exclusive Outfits
Clone Trooper Outfit
From the Galactic Reputation tab, you can get the Clone Trooper outfit as the final reward for the Free Reward Track if you gain 11,000 Galactic Reputation points.
You can purchase the Premium Reward Track to receive the Coruscant Guard Outfit automatically. You can also get the Wolf Pack Trooper Outfit and Ahsoka's Close Trooper Outfit as you accumulate Galactic Reputation points.
Darth Maul Outfit
Just like the Clone Trooper outfit, the Darth Maul Outfit can be acquired when players get 11,000 Galactic Reputation points while having the Premium Reward Track.
Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala Outfits
Both Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala's outfits can be bought at the Item Shop from May 2 until May 23, 2023.
These outfits are part of a bundle with back bling, a harvesting tool, a glider, a wrap, and an emoticon for each character. The bundle will cost 2,100 V-Bucks.
The Force Abilities
Can Be Used For Sprinting, Jumping and Push Back
If we can not use the Force, it will not be Star Wars. After selecting your trainers, you will enter a rift, and emerge with a lightsaber and new Force Abilities.
If you choose Obi-Wan Kenobi as a trainer, you can learn to use the Force to push objects and players away. Choosing Anakin Skywalker lets you learn to pull things and players towards you. On the other hand, if you select the Sith path, you can learn how to use the Force to lift objects from the environment and throw them at players.
Lightsabers
The color of the lightsaber you get also depends on which trainer you get. You will get a green Jedi Padawan lightsaber if you choose Obi-Wan Kenobi, a blue lightsaber if you choose Anakin Skywalker, and a red Sith Apprentice lightsaber if you follow Darth Maul. These lightsabers can also be used as a melee weapon.
