The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Gameplay
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom stays true to the action-adventure roots of the classic Zelda games such as Link to the Past, but introduces a new twist: players now take on the role of Zelda as she embarks on a quest to rescue Link and save Hyrule.
The game adopts a top-down perspective with visuals inspired by the 2019 Link’s Awakening remake. Players can freely explore every corner of Hyrule, with certain gameplay elements drawing inspiration from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom as well. For instance, the environment reacts dynamically to Zelda's actions—fire spreads across flammable surfaces, and metal objects conduct electricity.
The game also brings back classic Zelda gameplay elements, including the ability to ride horses, fast travel to various locations, explore dungeons, tackle side quests, and challenge yourself with Hero Mode difficulty.
Accompanying her is Tri, a newfound fairy companion who grants Zelda the Tri-Rod, a magical weapon with the unique ability to create echoes.
These echoes are replicas of objects or enemies that can be summoned strategically, though their usage is limited, requiring players to think creatively.
Echoes
You can echo a box to stack multiple copies and reach high ledges, or summon waves of defeated enemies to defend against incoming threats. If players summon an echo after reaching the maximum limit, the first echo created will disappear automatically.
Players also have the option to remove echoes manually by using the Tri-Rod on the echoed object. There are countless ways to approach challenges using echoes as you journey across Hyrule.
Below is a list of some of the objects and weapons you can echo.
⚫︎ Table
⚫︎ Decorative Shrub
⚫︎ Wooden Box
⚫︎ Bed
⚫︎ Pot
⚫︎ Rock
⚫︎ Zol
⚫︎ Spear Moblin
⚫︎ Lynel
Swordfighter Form
After obtaining a mysterious sword, Princess Zelda gains access to the Swordfighter Form. This transformation turns her into a skilled swordfighter, enabling her to engage in powerful close-range combat, break through barriers, and defeat enemies. However, the form has a time limit, which can be extended by collecting energy in the Still World.
Bind and Reverse bond
Zelda possesses the ability to bind objects, making them follow her movements, as well as a reverse bond that allows her to follow the object's movements instead. These abilities can be used on both objects and monsters.
Smoothies
Zelda can visit a Smooth shop where she can blend ingredients gathered during her journey, such as fruits found on the ground or parts from defeated monsters. By mixing and matching these ingredients, she can create smoothies that provide various effects, such as restoring hearts or granting temporary boosts like increased speed.
Below is a list of some of the smoothies you can make.
⚫︎ Sweet Smoothie
⚫︎ Refreshing Smoothie
⚫︎ Milky Smoothie
⚫︎ Tough Smoothie
⚫︎ Cactus Smoothie
Automations
Zelda can team up with the engineer Dampe to build a variety of machines that will assist her on her journey. These machines can stun enemies or even attack them, providing valuable support in her quest.
Below is a list of automation you can build:
⚫︎ Techtite
⚫︎ Tocktorok
⚫︎ Gizmol
⚫︎ High-Teku Baba
⚫︎ Roboblin
⚫︎ Goldfinch
Still World
Throughout her adventure in Hyrule, Zelda encounters the Still World—a mysterious realm formed by magical rifts caused by Ganon. These rifts have pulled parts of Hyrule into massive, treacherous dungeons filled with intricate puzzles, tough enemies, and formidable bosses. Overcoming these dungeons is key to restoring Hyrule, closing the rifts, and completing Zelda’s heroic quest.
Outfits
Zelda can change her outfits throughout the game, with certain outfits providing beneficial effects, such as restoring more HP when resting in bed.

⚫︎ Customary Attire
