Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf Gameplay
Planet of Lana 2 takes players on a long journey across the different landscapes and biomes of Lana and Mui’s home planet, Novo. Players will have to traverse tundras, forests, ruins, and even swim in the ocean in this atmospheric and cinematic journey. The game’s story will be deeply intertwined with the gameplay; instead of spoken dialogue, players will piece together the story and history of the planet and its tribes through Lana and Mui’s adventures.
As with Planet of Lana, there will be enemy automatons too powerful for Lana and Mui to fight directly. Instead, players will have to make sure that Lana and Mui don’t fall into their line of fire and, if possible, even take them apart from within.
According to gameplay footage, some locations will require Lana and Mui to operate submarines and aircrafts on top of the automatons they can hack and use according to their needs.
Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf Story Plot
In Planet of Lana 2, technology is now fixed into the fabric of the societies that populate the lands of Novo. The promise of progress has led to greed and self-interest over sustainability and preservation of natural resources. As the sequel’s story tackles broader themes of resilience and preservation in the face of irreversible change, players will once again experience this new chapter as Lana, who is once again accompanied by her mysterious cat-like companion, Mui.
Planet of Lana 2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor by allowing the game’s many locations and biomes to tell the history of the planet’s tribes. In addition, however, this sequel will finally dive into Mui’s origins.
