Everything We Know About Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis

Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis Story Plot

Image

Episode Aigis - the Answer- picks up a few weeks after the events of Persona 3. The S.E.E.S. members are stuck in their dorm, reliving the same day—March 31st—over and over. To break free, they must venture into the Abyss of Time, uncover why they're trapped, discover the source of Aigis's new Wild Card ability, and figure out who Metis, the new AI robot resembling Aigis, really is. This episode acts as an epilogue, diving into the challenges faced by Aigis and the S.E.E.S. members as they confront each other and their inner struggles, exploring themes of death, the meaning of life, and new beginnings.

Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis Gameplay

Image

Just like the base game of Reload, Episode Aigis will feature “cutting-edge graphics, modernized quality-of-life features, fresh animations, an updated UI, and a rearranged soundtrack.” In this DLC, you play as Aigis, trapped in the dorm and forced to explore a new Tartarus-like dungeon called the Abyss of Time, which you descend deeper into instead of climbing upwards. This game focuses solely on dungeon exploration, with no school-life activities or social links available. However, you can still visit shops.

Aigis now has the Wild Card ability, granting her access to the Velvet Room, where she can fuse new Personas and switch between them. The game is said to be approximately 30 hours long, similar to the original. It is still unclear if it is recommended to play the base game first. Additionally, it's uncertain if the game will have only one difficulty level like the original version.

All S.E.E.S. members return to your party, except for the main character, and there is a new party member: a robot similar to Aigis named Metis.

In addition to the enhancements, Episode Aigis will also feature unique changes, fusions, and new Theurgies for Aigis!
