Death of a Wish Story Plot
Christian has gone against the corrupted cult that has raised him since he was a child, and he will stop at nothing to uproot their influence upon Neo-Sanctum. Together with other victims of the cult, they will unite and destroy the four Sanctum Faiths: Father, Sister, Cardinal, and Priest.
Between achieving their wishes, they will be met with horrifying nightmares of monsters and people throughout the surreal scratch dreamworld of Paradiso. Annihilate them all to "Shine your light in this surreal sea of darkness."
Death of a Wish Gameplay
Death of a Wish is a top-down action RPG with visceral aesthetics and frenetic combat. However, you cannot blindly rush in and attack, as Christian’s Corruption meter will continuously increase throughout his journey. The speed of Corruption can be slowed by performing long, graceful combos in combat, effectively raising a style meter. Christian has a variety of magical attack combos he can use called Arias, which he must use in tactical ways so as to not increase his Corruption.
Master Arias, be elegant in combat and defeat the Nightmares that stand in your way.
Aside from combat, the game will feature choices that could influence your story.
