Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a brand new title that stars the lovable green dinosaur, Yoshi, as he meets Mr/ E, a mysterious talking book that fell from tthe sky. At Mr. E's request, Yoshi jumps into his magical book to discover mysterious creatures and collect information about them.
The latest reveal trailer showcased some gameplay, which features classic platforming mechanics from the Yoshi and Mario series. This includes obstacle breaking, fishing, surfing, and other activities that will aid Yoshi to meet and study more creatures that will eventually complete the encyclopedia.
The game also introduces its unique animations and art style that encapsulates the feeling of a page-turning adventure within the magical book. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is set to be released in Spring 2026 on the Nintendo Switch 2.
