Astro Bot, Wukong, and Metaphor: ReFantazio Announced as GOTY 2024 Contenders
The Game Awards 2024, hosted and produced by game journalist Geoff Keighley, has announced its nominees for 19 competitive categories. Final Fntasy VII Rebirth leads with a total of 7 nomination across different categories, including Game of the Year (GOTY). Other contenders for GOTY 2024 include breakout hit Astro Bot, indie darling Balatro, cultural sensation Black Myth: Wukong, the highly-anticipated RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio, and Elden Ring expansion Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree whose nomination caused a polarizing effect in the gaming community. Fans can start voting from now until December 11 on The Game Awards’ official website and Discord server.
