Beldum Announced for Pokémon GO Community Day Classic
Pokémon GO Beldum Community Day Classic Starts August 18, 2024 at 2PM (local time)
Pokémon GO has confirmed today that Beldum is the next featured 'mon for Pokémon GO Community Day Classic this month. Beldum has previously been featured in the past, and now will make its awaited return for Community Day Classic. The event is expected to commence at 2PM (local time) on August 18 and will run for three hours, ending at 5PM (local time) on the same day, though Pokémon has yet to officially announce the event date.
Community Day is a monthly event in Pokémon GO that spotlights certain Pokémon, whom players can catch more frequently throughout the event and help evolve. During the event, players can typically expect increased spawn rates of the featured Pokémon. Although official details for Beldum haven't been confirmed, it's highly likely that it will spawn more frequently, given that this happens with past Community Days.
Beldum is a Steel/Psychic-type Pokémon, and evolves into Metang and eventually into Metagross, Beldum's final evolution. Players participating in the event can enjoy several bonuses, including the chance to learn exclusive Community Day moves for Metagross.
For the previous event, Metagross was able to learn the exclusive move Meteor Mash. For this event however, it's currently unclear if Meteor Mash can also be learned. A Metagross that has evolved from a Metang can automatically learn Meteor Mash during special events. If you were unable to evolve your Beldum variants during Community Day, you can use Elite Charged TM on a Metagross to get Meteor Mash.
