Palworld to Announce 'Long-Awaited Features' at Summer Game Fest 2024
Teaser Shows Two Seemingly New Pals
Taking to Twitter (X), Palworld developer Pocketpair teased fans with an announcement, hinting at major updates and new content, including "long awaited features," that players "don't want to miss." Palworld, which quickly became a breakout hit upon its release earlier this year, has already set records on Steam and become Xbox's biggest third-party Game Pass entry.
Along with the announcement, Palworld provided a sneak peek at two Pals, though it is unclear whether they are entirely new characters or variations of existing Pals, Wixen and Katress. Further details were kept under wraps, sparking a flurry of speculation among fans.
According to a report by Dexerto, a teaser announcement from April might hold clues about the upcoming reveals at Summer Game Fest. This teaser hinted at new Pals, weapons, and locations making their way to the game in a big update. During the Triple-i Initiative 2024 event held earlier this year, Pocketpair unveiled a teaser for its hotly anticipated Arena PvP mode. Officially dubbed as the Pal Arena, it is scheduled to debut in Palworld sometime in 2024.
