The Official Pokémon TikTok account recently took fans on a humorous journey through an iconic film. The TikTok account published a video that recreated a well-known scene from the movie American Psycho using Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) cards in place of business cards, along with the wonderfully unanticipated appearance of Larry.
The scene, taken from the iconic American Psycho, features Christian Bale playing as Patrick Bateman and his coworkers swapping business cards. The roles were played by Pokémon hand puppets, and it was later discovered that the fictitious business cards were actually Larry trainer cards.
Pokémon TCG For Scarlet and Violet Era
Larry, a well-known character in the Pokémon universe, appears as a supporter in the Raging Surf subset, the third Japanese release in the Scarlet and Violet Era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This set was released in Japan on September 22, 2023. It quickly reached worldwide audiences, with Traditional Chinese releases on September 29, 2023, Korean releases on October 13, 2023, and Thai releases on October 27, 2023.
This hilarious marketing effort coincides with the impending English-language Pokémon TCG Scarlet & Violet - Paradox Rift, released in November 2023. Larry is a well-known Paldean Elite Four member and an expert at controlling Flying-type Pokémon.
