Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor Global Release Date Announced
Coming February 2026
Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor, the upcoming survival roguelite mobile title based on the hit anime series Hunter x Hunter (HxH), is scheduled to release on February 17, 2026. As announced on the game’s official Twitter (X) on December 19, the game will launch globally on iOS and Android devices.
Following the release of Hunter x Hunter Nen Impact in July 2025, HxH comes with another title developed by Wonderplanet and published by Bushiroad Games. Nen x Survivor was first teased in October 2025, where it showcased 4-character party mechanics and Nen-based ability upgrades.
Optimized for one-handed play, the game offers intuitive controls, varied difficulty levels, and highly replayable stages. Its official description reads, "A roguelike experience where you mow down waves of enemies with Nen ability. Use random skills and party synergy to build a different build every time!"
So far, the game has confirmed several playable characters, which include Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka, Chrollo, and Netero. The developers also noted that the game will feature an original opening movie with high-quality animation not seen in the series, which is set to be unveiled soon.
Additionally, the game has released several new illustrations that will be included in the game, with more coming in future posts. These never-before-seen artworks are described as a "Memory Scene," which highlights iconic moments from the anime series.
Pre-Registration Now Open
After the release date reveal, the developers announced that pre-registration for Nen x Survivor is now open. On December 21, 2025, Bushiroad Games held an online showcase to celebrate the opening of the game’s pre-registration.
Fans can also join a pre-registration campaign to unlock special rewards ahead of the official launch. Each milestone yields different bonuses, which include the following:

● 100,000 Pre-Registrations - 1,000 Nen Crystals
● 200,000 Pre-Registrations - Original Wallpaper
● 300,000 Pre-Registrations - S Memory Scene: "The Adventure Begins"
So far, pre-registrations have reached over 50,000, to which the developers have uploaded the SNS icons featuring Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, and Hisoka. Fans can check out more details about the pre-registration on the game’s official website.
Gameplay Showcase
Aside from the pre-registration, Bushiroad’s livestream also showcased some gameplay, featuring Phantom Troupe’s Machi as one of the characters used. In the footage, the developers highlighted how the roguelite mechanics work, which follow the typical systems utilized by games of the same genre, such as Vampire Survivors and Brotato, among others.
As players level up during a run, you choose from randomized "Nen Skills." These are often categorized by Nen types (Enhancement, Transmutation, etc.) and can be stacked to create "infinite builds." These are represented by weapons that are featured in the game or other characters that aid the main party in each stage.
The game also includes a separate equipment system called S Memory Scenes, which showcases iconic moments from the anime. These scenes offer passive buffs and stat boosts that help players overcome increasingly difficult challenges.
Moreover, there will be bosses that appear occasionally with specific gimmicks or mechanics that require tactical movement or specific skill counters. Meanwhile, there is a dedicated auto-progress feature called "Auto Mode" for players who want to grind or progress while busy.
While the developers have yet to discuss in-depth the other modes and features that will be in the game, the showcase reveals that Nen x Survivor will follow the 2011 anime timeline, starting from Whale Island and the Hunter Exam.
Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor is set to be released on February 17, 2026, on iOS and Android devices.
