Monster Hunter Wilds Update Version 1.041 Details
Anniversary Event Schedule And Rewards

Monster Hunter Wilds outlined Update Version 1.041 as the game approaches its first anniversary. In an announcement video posted on X (formerly Twitter), producer Ryozo Tsujimoto unveils a month-long anniversary event, along with a broad slate of event quests, high-difficulty challenges, and collaboration content.
A special in-game anniversary event will run from February 18 to March 19. During this period, players who log in will receive a Hunter Appreciation Pack, a one-time item bundle. All players will also receive one free Character Edit Voucher and one free Palico Edit Voucher.
Previously released Festival of Accord seasonal events will also return on a weekly rotation, allowing players to revisit past events and obtain their associated equipment, login bonuses, and other rewards.
Below is the planned release schedule:
| Blossomdance | February 18th – February 25th |
| Flamefete | February 25 – March 4 |
| Dreamspell | March 4 – March 12 |
| Lumenhymn | March 12 – March 19 |
Arch-Tempered Hunts And High-Difficulty Quests

Several high-difficulty quests are planned during the anniversary period. A 10-Star Arch-tempered Arkveld event quest, available to HR100+ hunters, will become permanently available starting February 18. The update also adds new 10-Star quests featuring all four previously released Arch-tempered monsters: Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad.
These 10-Star quests reward hunters with Timeworn Charms, which can be appraised into rare-quality talismans, as well as Battle-tempered Emblems used to reinforce Gogma Artian weapons.
After completing the 10-Star Arch-tempered Arkveld Event Quest and all special environment quests, players can unlock a high-difficulty Hunt-a-thon optional quest featuring multiple 10-Star Arch-tempered monsters. Tsujimoto noted that these are "some of the most challenging quests yet so we hope you give them a shot."
In addition, Arch-tempered Arkveld will also appear in a free challenge quest available for a limited time from March 19 to April 1.
Community Creations And Collaboration Quests

Selected weapon and pendant designs from last year’s Weapon and Pendant Design Contest will be added through this update. Players can obtain the Shatterseal great sword and the Meatmergency! pendant by completing the permanent event quest called Every Hunter’s Dream. All 16 finalist creators will also have their names added to the game’s credits starting with this update.
Moreover, a special collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will be added ahead of its March 13 release and will be permanently available starting February 18. Hunters with Hunter Rank 9 or higher can find an NPC named Sole at the Scarlet Forest base camp, who offers a new side mission with its own rewards.
Players will then meet Rudy, a Royal Palico from the Kingdom of Azuria. After dropping a number of precious eggs, Rudy asks for the player’s help, unlocking a special optional quest that requires players to deliver eggs. Some eggs encountered during the quest may be Highly Potent, and successfully delivering these to camp can get players better rewards upon completion.

Completing the collaboration content rewards players with the Rudy Costume α, Monstie-themed pendants—including Skyscale Ratha, Hatchling Rey Dau, Hatchling Chatacabra, and Hatchling Gravios—as well as Hunter Profile rewards such as backgrounds, poses, and nameplates. Some rewards are obtained by completing the side mission, while others are earned through the optional quest.
There will also be a new cooperative side mission with support hunter Nadia. Completing the mission grants players Nadia’s armor set.
Limited-Time Events And Bonus Quests

More quests are included in the update. A limited-time challenge quest featuring the least hunted monster, identified through player data, will run from February 28 to March 19. This version of the monster has been specially tuned for increased difficulty and will offer an assortment of rewards.
An "unconventional" quest will also become permanently available starting February 25, offering colorful pendant rewards. Another event quest arriving on February 28 introduces new equipment rewards, including the Gala Suit α and Felyne Star α sets, which will also remain permanently available.
Tsujimoto also confirmed that more event quests are planned, with additional details set to be revealed at a later date.
In-Person Events And What’s Next for Monster Hunter Wilds

Capcom also announced upcoming in-person events, including Monster Hunter Festa ’26, a fan festival with exhibits, interactive challenges, and community-oriented activities, which will be held on February 22 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan with free and unlimited entry. It will feature The Monster Hunter Wilds Championships 2026, a competition for the world’s fastest hunters, as well as additional exhibits and activities. All stage events will be livestreamed for players watching remotely.
The development team confirmed that a large-scale expansion, comparable in scope to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, is currently in development, with more details planned for this summer.
Alongside these additions, Update Version 1.041 continues ongoing improvements to game stability and performance.
