More Details on Unannounced Project at Gamescom 2024

Tarsier Studios, the studio behind the horror platformer-puzzle adventure hits Little Nightmares I and II, revealed a new project during the recently broadcasted THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2024. The announcement came with a short teaser trailer. The teaser showed what seemed to be a grim, abandoned barn.

Enter a boar. And not just a regular boar—the beast had its guts hanging out of the sutures on its belly. Not a lot was revealed in the teaser, aside from innards. However, the boar eerily warned viewers that "they're coming"—and we are also currently in the dark as to who "they" could be.

This new project is touted to be "unlike anything you've seen before" and the wait for answers seems to be nearing an end, as Tarsier Studios and THQ Nordic confirmed they will be revealing more at Gamescom later this month starting on the 21st.

Ever since the studio had stepped away from the Little Nightmares series, "Until Dawn" developer Supermassive Games has taken over the reins. It was announced earlier in June that Little Nightmares 3 has entered an extended development phase and will not be expected to come out until next year.
