inZOI Revealed System Requirements for the Game
RTX 2060 as Its Minimum Graphics Requirement
inZOI’s developer Krafton revealed that the game would need higher system specs for players to have the best experience. On March 12, 2025, they posted the system requirements and optimal settings for inZOI on their website, and have categorized the system requirements into four categories; namely Minimum, Medium, Recommended, and High, and the optimal settings for each tier.
At minimum, the game requires the player to have an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX5600 for its graphics and a CPU of Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5. This is a huge leap compared to EA’s Sims 4 PC requirements, which only require NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or higher. Krafton explained, "inZOI delivers high-quality graphics and realistic city-level simulations, which require higher system specifications to run smoothly."
For the recommended settings, the game requires NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 for its graphics and a CPU of Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7. Meanwhile, the highest settings would require players to have a graphics card of NVIDIA RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 while having a CPU of Intel i7 14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
This comes as no surprise as based on the trailers released on the game, inZOI does seem to push the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5. Although developers have previously mentioned on inZOI’s official Discord that they have plans of bringing the game to PS5 and Xbox, it looks like the game may need to be optimized for consoles, as inZOI requires heavy-duty specs for it to be played.
Graphics Comparison by System Specs
Krafton has also provided a video comparing the graphics for each of the system specs they mentioned. In the video, the differences between each category can be seen in its lighting, textures, color, and more, with the highest PC specs providing the best visual experience among all.
Despite the options provided, the game may not immediately reach the wide player base that its rivals in the genre, like the Sims 4, have gotten due to the high base point of specs required to run it. However, Krafton stated, "While these requirements ensure the best possible gameplay experience, we remain committed to making inZOI accessible to more players." They added, "We plan to implement a feature that automatically adjusts game settings to provide the best possible experience."Krafton also promised to "continue working on optimizations to improve performance while finding ways to lower system requirements without compromising overall quality."
inZOI will be having a live stream showcase on March 19, 2025, at 01:00 UTC on inZOI’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. Players will get to know more about the game’s early access pricing, DLC, its developmental roadmap, as well as additional information and answers to fan questions.
