Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment DLC
Although an official paid DLC Expansion Pass has not yet been confirmed for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, Nintendo has announced plans for two free content updates.
The first of these free updates (Version 1.0.2) releases on November 27, 2025, and brings a lot of new content, including:
⚫︎ New post-game Battle and Hyrule Challenges
⚫︎ New weapons, such as the Greatsword of Light and the Spear of the Upper Guard
⚫︎ New Sync Strikes for characters like Zelda and Calamo, and for fighting alongside the Block Golem
⚫︎ Additional new enemies and stronger materials.
Considering the precedent set by Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which both featured major paid DLC expansions (with new costumes, story content, characters, weapons, and locations), it is still highly reasonable to expect a paid Expansion Pass for Age of Imprisonment to be announced in the coming months.

Pre-orders for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment opened directly after the September 2025 Nintendo Direct. On the Nintendo eShop, the game is now available for purchase for $69.99.
