⚫︎ Hollow Knight: Silksong updated its Traditional and Simplified Chinese script via the release of its Patch 5, six months after the game's release, and fan backlash over the translations. The new script was provided by indie publisher craft (indienova), who coordinated with Team Cart Fix for lore consistency and more.

⚫︎ A new beta patch for the sequel allows the Silk Soar move to pass through top scene exits. Fans first doubted the news as a prank, but they now celebrate the limitless travel.

⚫︎ Hollow Knight Silksong will launch its first free expansion called Sea of Sorrow in 2026. Team Cherry also announced that they will be releasing a Hollow Knight Switch 2 edition, featuring all the new features and fixes that current-gen consoles have for the game.

⚫︎ Team Cherry's co-founders, Ari Gibson and William Pellen, do not expect Silksong to win at The Game Awards despite five nominations. They anticipate that the exceptional and broadly palatable
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will take the major awards. They did, however, confirm that they are busy working on DLC for Silksong, and are considering how to use the game's concepts in future projects outside of the Hollow Knight series.

⚫︎ In an interview with ACMI, Team Cherry stated that any future Hollow Knight games following Silksong would be developed as standalone entries. They emphasized that new titles would exist alongside the others, meaning players would not need prior lore knowledge to enjoy them.
